  • Update on evidence and current role of novel imaging strategies for non-invasive histological characterization of renal masses
The diagnosis of incidental small renal masses is consistently broadening. The issue of pre-treatment histological characterization of these lesions has become increasingly important for a proper clinical management, including the selection of patients for non-surgical therapy and the tailoring of the surgical approach.
Furthermore, the histological diagnosis is crucial for the identification of the best suited systemic treatment in the setting of advanced/metastatic disease. This recording aims to highlight the current evidence and potential role of new imaging modalities to achieve these goals.
    Speakers:
    Prof. A. Volpe (IT)
    Dr. I. Horvat Menih (GB)
    Ass. Prof. I.C. Caglic (GB)
    Dr. N. Singla (US)
