This brought tears to my eyes. This movie has always been very important to me ever since I was very little, and I managed to watch it with my ex some years back, which kinda tainted the movie for me a bit since we're not together anymore and the movie reminds me of her. But hearing this piece makes me feel a little bit like a kid again, just flying away in fantasia, without many worries
I remember seeing reruns of this in the 90s as a kid. Crazy movie and flying dog creature.😂 Crazy music though, I don't remember it being that awesome with the crazy 16th note arpeggios in both hands.

Yes, the movie is based on an actual book and is well worth the read. There are some differences, quite a few, actually, such as the first movie only being the first half of the book and the second movie more or less following the second half. It does give more clarity to some points in the movie(s), though. I'm not sure what the point of the third movie was, nor what part of the book it follows, but it's entertaining enough, especially if you want to see a young Jack Black. (For those who may not know, eventually there were three movies made, but the second two were not as good as the first.)

Every one of our pieces on our channel is first played in by me and then edited - so what you hear is what I originally played with a little bit of tidying up. I might do it section by section or go through and then change small parts, but they're all played by me, a human :D I do always feel bad for putting in a bunch of tenths though - I have really big hands!
