    Thank you for the video..
Protip #1 - place water in the lower reservoir.. dripping will fall in the water... Easy to clean up and you have stock
Protip #2 - preheat the Weber before placing food on it
Protip #3 - do not use and metal utensils...it will damage the choosing... Use silicone type utensils instead
    More content please

Thanks for doing such a detailed video review. I believe that it's your unfamiliarity with stir-fry is the reason why you liked that feature the least. It's just another way to sautee vegetables and meat. You start with oil only, and then only add small amount of water if you're making a sauce or gravy.

Nice video/ review. A couple tips: The wok is Not meant to be used as a lid ( voids warranty). Someone suggested using 12" × 3" disposable aluminum Dutch oven liners for a lid and to line the bottom half ( with center cut out) for easy clean up.The wok rim has holes 3/4 around with a solid section to be turned into any wind , to block. Using cooking spray on non- stick surfaces leaves a gummy residue over time. Better to use a Misto sprayer ( about 10.00) which you fill with olive oil, etc. When wok cooking heat a little oil, No Water, add food and cook quickly. The frozen vegetables also really lower the wok temperature and release liquid, better to use regular raw produce to get typical wok results. Glad you showed unscrewing the liquid reservoir top, before dumping it, to keep burner clean.

      Wrong on the lid.
It is a lid. That is purely for legal reasons. Remember this is camping and unstable gets involver. Burning of hands as well.
But for pancakes or burgers who uses a lid?

Greetings from Australia. Good review mate! For the stir fry and other modes preheat the wok/surface so it is max hot before putting the meat on, otherwise you dont get that nice browning of the meat.

I haven't tested it out yet but I just found one of these at the local Restore for $9 and it looks like it was barely used. I hope it works! All the parts were there and the box was still with it! If it works it's a nice score for are camping gear. Thanks for the demo.

I've had a similar BBQ for about 10 years but it's a Cadac(South African) brand. They are great, I've cooked pizzas, fruit crumbles, roasts, stir fries anything at all you can cook on them. They are great. I cooked for 6 people for 2 weeks off of that and another gas burner. We ate like kings. Best bush trip ever to Shoalwater Bay.

Coleman says don’t use the wok for a lid so basically the barbecue has no lid

    • @macstevef7f

Yes. It clearly says using the Wok as a lid while cooking invalidates the warranty.

Its NOT a barbecue. You cant and don't use charcoal. That is why you dont use the wok as a lid. Its a gas stove- use it as such. If ya want to bbq- get a Weber or knock off pour in your charcoal and put on the lid.

When residue and char builds up on the lid, I don’t think you’ll want to use it as wok...but you need to step your stir fry game up

  • @jackwebb5917

Good review. However, the reason you weren’t as happy with the wok cook is that you did it all wrong. You did a chicken and veggie stew, not a stir fry. The chicken should have been marinated with at least soy sauce, garlic, and cornstarch. A wok should be almost searing hot, especially for the chicken. The oil of choice is not sesame seed (other than a tiny pour at the end for flavor) but rather vegetable oil. And it should never be watery like that

Probably would not be a good safety procedure, as it would affect the propane tank having a table to sit on.
