Well well well Amanda Cook now this podcast I literally stumbled a pawn …its funny because when this happens and it has a few times I get an overall feeling of calm because somehow perhaps it’s not a stumble at all … it was placed there !
I enjoy listening to story’s about prairie farm life as I am one as well . I understand you kinda of know southern Alberta so yes farming in Vulcan Ab since I was a baby . I get the bit about the cold barren waste land but we get chinooks as we are just east of the Rocky mountain foothills . We moved to the “ city “ for grade one and I guess that’s were I landed .
I have used your word “thread “ many time when commenting so here is another part of said thread .. my exe is a non practicing Mennonite and I certainly learned a lot with and from this person ie: long long conversations about lyrics from gospel or worship music… we spent weeks on the song Hallelujah.. good times . Many many times your worship songs have turned into my story or parts there of . I think I have also mentioned or called your voice hauntingly familiar because it’s in my heart and soul already .. does this make sense ?? Perhaps eh lol so indeed you have definitely changed my souls direction and that is a sweet thing . I could ramble on and on but it’s chill time ( I’m a nite owl from working nights as a nurse ) . It was lovely to listen to the podcast and thanks so much for your honesty , integrity so on and so forth lol … cheers lady I’m sure I will stumble again in your direction ….
