Hey Nolan. I appreciate your honesty in this review. The overall design seems good. NVH was probably not a large priority for Kia in this vehicle's size class. The interior space seems good and cargo room as well so I think these will sell well.

Based on your critique on the dual-clutch transmission, people like me(who drive a stick shift) need to take this with a grain of salt. It sounds no different than when I shift gears, minus my hand shifting the knob and my leg engaging the clutch.
I just bought the SX Turbo in white with the black roof and I LOVE it! The dct takes a few days to get used to but so does a cvt, hybrid, or full electric transmissions. If you know how a dct works and behaves then the Seltos' dct is no different.
yes quite so - DCT's work very well and people that are not used to them ( or used to an auto )and criticise them need to learn how to use them effectively - and - dct's are the best for economy, just like a manual
Only draw back for me to buy this SUV is the dual clutch with the clutter shifting. Acura put a CAT converter on their dual clutch and it smooth out the annoying delay in shifting. Other then that, it's an excellent vehicle/value.
I am actually looking at this SUV, just made an appointment with my local Kia car dealer. Trying to find a good SUV with best monthly lease because the lease from GM is expensive on my Buick Encore.

KIA Seltos rear Aircon vent blowing warm air when Aircon temperature is set at 25 degree celsius and outside environmental temperature is above 34 degree celsius, their service work shop claimed that is normal. During the visit on 26 Apr 2021, inspection was carried out on the vehicle’s Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning System; the values such as Ambient Temperature Sensor, Evaporator Temperature Sensor, photo sensor, In-car air temperature sensor and other related values that maintain the operation of the climatic air-conditioning system. We did not find any abnormalities in the values and all sensors and actuators are functioning normally and a diagnostic scan with the manufacturer’s diagnostic scanner did not report any diagnostic trouble codes. These data was also inspected and compared to 2 other similar vehicles and the performance was found to be similar and thus the vehicle’s air-conditioning system was judged to be operating normally. That's radiculous and sily.
Very thorough review! That duel clutch transmission would drive me crazy, too --- most of my driving is stop 'n go city. Also, would have a problem with the wind and road noise!
DCT is just fine in stop and go city driving - treat it like a manual gearbox and put it in neutral when stopped...it is after all a manual gearbox that just has two clutches and can change gears much faster than you can manually -- understand them, and you learn to love them
Maybe sport mode would cure the DCT hesitation. Also think it was an early model as the Hyundai N line DCT's will be handling way more power. VW DCT no such issues. Check out the new Black Cherry color it is tempting. I will say though you do see the cost cutting which was unexpected at 30k.
