I think Sabine is pre-cut monster but has a tendency to fold post cut because everyone left has to be very good playing against Sabine to get there. She also gatekeeps rogue decks. I will say having your matches done in 30 minutes and hanging out for 25 is more relaxing than grinding to time playing Qira :)
kylo comes in against decks he can kill the leader or bigger units like Boba Fett. Palps return against anything that's going to discard you or the game is going to go super long.
with how often i've run the yellow boba and han matchup, I feel more like they're even after a few tweaks. They're basically tied for 2nd in my book and will be chasing the Qi'ra dragon all set.
Will you do a tier list of all the leader ? Curious of your take on Grand Inquisitor, Luke Green that seems to did well earlier in the meta, Rey, Yellow Tarkin, etc.
I don't do tier lists because they exist without context and ccgs are all about context. Plenty of CCs do. I do videos about the actual/expected meta and how to navigate it. I think all of those leaders are very playable
One thing I would like to see in that chart of conversion rates is what percentage of the field at each event each leader/color was as well. As in, on GenCon day 1, how many total Boba Yellows started the tournament, and so on. I don't think it would change the overall gist of what the chart is conveying, but it would probably give a more accurate picture of a given leader/base combo's true performance. But with the sample sizes so far, it might not mean much. Just something to think about as more big tournaments happen and the meta further matures.

I have an incomplete collection and am swapping in some sideboard cards to make up for gaps. Plus there are cards I like to just throw a 1x into the deck to see what it does. I am running 2x Kylo's TIE Silencer and 1x Kylo (limited copies of each). What do I cut to slot in a single Palp's Return? It feels weird cutting a Bounty card in Bossk, but I'm not sure I really need 3x of the Bounty Hunter's Quarry?
The Quarry is really important to have a massive tempo gain early in the game, especially if you can pop it on bossks flip turn. You can also play Merc gunships over kylos ship. For the palps return I'd probably cut another event you don't love

If you had a better play you could hold it but nobody would ever Bazine it. You're better off just playing it on curve and if you get the value someday it's gravy
Talking about how strong Sabine's presence is, other than event synergy what would your reason be for running Bossk over Syndicate Lackeys in Boba yellow? I've been practicing Yellow Boba and prefer lackeys for that 5 power.

In that regard though Bossk would be equally as slow, depending on how event heavy the deck is and the opportunity cost of playing events before he dies to get pings versus just putting bodies on the board and he hits for 4 only. I like him but I'm torn on that 5 slot generally.
Was your Boba Cunning package useful vs the Sabines? Last tournament 4 of my 5 Swiss matches were against her and I really struggle, with the Boba Cunning standard matchup.
You mentioned Lom Pyke. Do you think, you can use his effect to give one of your units a shield, even if there is no enemy unit to give a shield to? The "if you do" confuses me. You can also write it the way, "Give a shield to one of your units. Than give a shield to an enemy unit

Greetings, how do you kill a boba if you wait for him to flip and you flip second? Then he just wears his OP armor , last set you were ECLing steadfast battalion after deploying first... So still wouldn't have a chance to wear his armor.

@@SWU_KTOD They've been relegated, and I don't exactly understand why. I think hard control has a place in this game and isn't that far behind tier decks like Qi'ra or Boba, although they struggle against Sabine. I still believe they are a good option. Great content, cheers.

@@SWU_KTOD It’s one I’ve seen a few times, I’m kicking one around. I don’t know that it’s strong enough yet, but the multiple pings from underworld cards can put pressure on your opponent. Cad leader, Proxima, Salacious, and MaKlounkee are the base. Then if you draw them 4-Lom and Zuckuss are used to K.O most leaders.
Gotta love the best meta deck turning into the most expensive deck in the game - 3 Vaders, 3 Vigilance, 2 SLB, 2 Snokes, 2 Avengers, 2 Devastators. My wallet hurts just thinking about it.
Eh, yellow Sabine was better set 1. 🤪 I don’t think this was the premier aggro deck in entirety. The data supports this. I’m very concerned with how good a top table yellow boba can be into Sabine. It’s such a predictable deck.

Lackey is too slow. By the time it's online their stuff has been buffed w medal ceremony or Darksaber. It works in green boba when you can ramp

No, the if you do is preclusive. If you don't give the enemy shield you can't get one yourself

If you don't have cunnings just play boba green or han green. It's the main reason to be mono yellow it's irreplaceable

You have other ways but it does take some effort. Overwhelming Barrage into an attack. Maul. Takedown. You just have to plan.
Cool I see, Maul kinda hard though needing dual ramp already at turn 5 while you'd still have to defend too.
I feel like Palp/blue and Han2/Green are prime to take down some of these new meta "fixtures"
