Funny, I just scored two older ones at the king's day market. Both work fine, but one has a missing screen over its lightmeter dial (these are located to the left on top of the body on my models, which differ slightly). One came with a Helios 44m (they are good lenses, but you have to accept it has a certain "cheap" character. If sharpness is your overal goal, maybe it isn't for you, but sharpness isn't everything!), the other with an Industar-22. As I live in the Netherlands, these things show up fairly often at online auctions, marketplaces and in thrift stores. Often, they are quite destroyed. though, they aren't indestructible. And yes, they can definitely eat film. :P
I am waiting for this camera to come from e bay it will be my 3rd Zenith if e erything okay... Golden rule don't leave these cameras fully wound on and put away you will break them and or damage the springs... A few drops of oil down the shutter button shaft is worthwhile but only sparingly guys and gals!!
@@bcegerton Well, I was lucky. I think I got mine for something like $20. But I am sure you could get more for yours, especially if it is in good condition.
I was given one of these, with lens last week, not sure if the lens has fungus in or not so both are well away from my other gear. Don’t even know if it works but if the lens is ok then I may throw a cheap film ( whatever they are these days ) through it to test it out

It is a fun camera, although very heavy.
