Now that was a tight, well written short horror story, just perfect for Shatner to ham it up.
I must say, Boris Karloff's movie "The Mummy" is my favorite the original. I watched this movie repeatedly on Creature Double Feature in the sixties and seventies. Simply Iconic!
LOVE THRILLER !!! Great episode with William Shatner and Natalie Schafer. He would go on to Star Trek and she, Gilligan's Island. Thank you Mysterious. THRILLER is always a winner. :o)
Florence Bush did mama's hair...and Jack I knew we played bingo..😊 thank you
I love haunted painting stories. They just seem extra scary. There are short story examples from Bram Stoker and Stephen King to a classic episode of Night Gallery featuring Roddy McDowell. Gives me shivers even now. 😧
All my faves have some kind of cool paintings. Like in Black Sunday too.
NIGHT GALLERY was very entertaining.👍🏻
@Laurahenderson watch: the picture of Dorian Gray
Awesome Boris Karloff series
@@ecuadorexpat8558There's several, & they're all good !
I will ALWAYS love William Shatner. He's simply awesome!
Love seeing Mrs Howell in a thriller with good old Bill Shatner.
I know. It's nice to see Natalie playing another character. I am old enough to remember Gilligan's Island. I don't know the other works that Natalie was in
Danke Schön das sie mir das zu gesendet haben vielen Dank Miss
Thanks for a riveting scary Thriller. I remember seeing this episode in ‘61 or ‘62.
Thanks for the upload Alyne! I have loved these Thriller episodes too!!
You're welcome!!
Elizabeth Allen was one of my favorite actresses. She looked terrific in this THRILLER episode!
She's really good.
The thriller episodes are just great and glad to see this one you posted. Pigeons from hell is one of my favorites along with Hay fork and bill hook, that has Alan Napier in it. Great actor. Thank you 👍
Glad you like them! I haven't seen Bill Hook and Hay Fork---sounds like a good name for a pub.

*WS, what a nice surprise to see him in this one. Star Trek was all I've ever seen him in. Nice to know. Thanks for the post, you do so well at picking these, really enjoyed it!*
Glad you enjoyed it
Original Twilight Zone also. Many more.
I did not realize that William Shatner was this good-looking when he was young!!! Great movie.
I know! He looks kind of short---- not that that's bad--- but maybe everyone else is very tall.
In this movie he has the same looking you can see in Star Trek... or have you NEVER watched the show...? I mean, you only saw Shatner recently, now that he's 92?
@@themysteriousdomainmoviepalace ... he certainly was not short.
Karloff, the man of 1000 faces. I love all of his work. The first piece i saw was The Hunch Back of Notre Dame. I was 4 or 5. I never forgot the film. I was thrilled to have found it on RUclips.
Did he play Quasimodo? I never heard of it. I shall look for it.
This was great. Have not seen this since I was around 10 years old on UHF TV in 1970 or there about. Thank you Alyne and you are looking esquisitely gothic as well
Thank you!
You are welcome, just speaking the truth@@themysteriousdomainmoviepalace
excellent short work. The actress who plays the writer, especially. Superb Goldsmith's bowed music.
We agree! Jerry Goldsmith knocked it out of the park with this one!

Love William ❤️ such a great thriller, really enjoyed watching!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you from Zimbabwe Africa. I love your selections.
Thank you!
I saw this when it first aired in the early sixties. I then perplexed my grade school teacher by showing her my drawing of the Grim Reaper. I was hoping it would come alive too.
You're brave!
How could you not have a crush on Bill! Bless him. Great entertainment from everyone, quite diverting 😊 Thanks for posting this.❤
Glad you enjoyed it
Obviously you haven't seen Jamie Dornan
The two episodes of Thriller that had William Shatner in them were the best. Both had Excellent casts of actors. Great to see them all so young and in their primes. 😀😁🎭🎬🎞️
Appreciate your selection! Thank's so very much for your efforts! Luv&Peace!🙂✌🏼⚘
Thank you so much!
Anything with Boris is good, I was born around the same time this was aired, it was a different era.
Nice cozy mansion. "Bedside Manor"! Heehee! :)

When you hear the frantic sound of the bow across the strings !

Best Ask! ☠ BORIS ☠
Excellent choice
Glad you think so!
Excelent story I wasn't aware of nor of the show. Thank you from Chile TMDMP.
Effective music.
Very simple good suspense story...perfect👍
Glad you liked it
Vintage Shatner indeed 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏😊😉👍👍
That still life joke at the beginning was great, a true ironic musing.
I kept waiting for Aunt Bee to call Paul "Andy".
Watch the CHEATERS. AND AND THE INCREDIBLE MR MARKINSON
Excellent movie!!
Seen all these episodes, when I taped them, back in the mid-90's. Absolutely, some of the best thriller (no pun, intended) show's to have ever been, on television. Strange to envision Captain Kirk, as the bad guy, here. And Natalie, preforming in something, so 'dark'!!! As she's never done, a horror film.
They are such high quality! It's kind of surprising.
Ótimo filme e vou me inscrever por ser legendados em português, obrigado pela postagem e vou ficar aguardando outros filmes tão bom como esse!
That's so cool! I never know what's going with subtitles so I'm glad you told me!
ty very much!
Hi Alyne Whiteswan. Your RUclips channel is second to none and a Great compilation of incredible movies. I looked at your web site, and I must say your beautiful imaginative artwork exudes a direct connection with Gaia Sophia, our mother earth. There is a presence that comes through you into your artwork, that triggers an emotional tactile bond to nature. Your eclectic taste resonates with me, and perhaps a darker side of me, I really didn't know existed. Respectfully Expanding Knowledge
Thank you so much! I'm glad you like my little world. :)

One of the supporting players is veteran
character actor Robert Cornthwaite who
has been in many films and tv shows from
the forties until the eighties.📺📺📺📺
Scared the hell out of me when I was a kid
I had to stop the show actually just the beginning it's five 5 20 in the morning I just heard you say summer is about over yes yes I could tell when I drove home from work where the sun was and wasn't in my eyes it was like it just changed yesterday I wanted to say you are definitely right Boris Karloff is the master and these Thrillers are definitely well made I totally agree you have good taste I remember the Reaper in the painting and yes funny lovey I remember most of all it's a thriller😮
This is good stuff🤙🏻🤙🏻
Борис Карлов во всяком гавне не играет. Великий мастер!
I enjoy your movies thank you ❤
Cheers!
Sergeant’s voice smooth as butter
Pretty Good Thanks 👍
Glad you like it
Was it guilt or was the painting really haunted?
Not only haunted, but apparently alive. Sometimes
Thank you MYSTERIOUS for share .. very much, from ARGENTINE ...JOSE DANIEL VALENCIA 🇦🇷🖐️😊

Good classic thrillers.
Thanks so much! I wish that time would once again come for theater and black & white movie production.

Backhanded compliment, right?
Wooow kaptan Kirk. 😮
Super
Thanks
I love this you have anymore?
A few. I'm behind because of moving and other things. I have another one mind.
Madam, really enjoying your presentations . I have been trying to track down a Karloff movie called Bedlam…any suggestions.
I've seen it on YT. Maybe on Newcastle After Dark?
Quite a few well-known names and a great stoty.
Indeed!
William Shatner was so good-looking I just had a big old crush on him when I was six years old and I didn't realize it until I kept remembering that I kept seeing him in a magazine and kept staring at him! he came out of the pool. I didn't even know that I was gay when I was that young! LOL!
Very Night Gallery ish. And isn't that blonde Paul Lyndes wife from the PL Show.
You can’t scare The Doctor.
Aunt Bea, lol.
I guess sometimes Bill can do a decent job. I grew up watching Star Trek in syndication. I didn't realize then that he wasn't that great. I have seen him in a couple other movies. He comes off a little bit cheesy
That's funny! It's like he can't take himself seriously.
Once again on Thriller: The French are still the French. Ce va.
Shatner overactive everything he does terrible take a lesson from Leslie Howard Farley grainger etc
Yeah, but gets away with it anyway. :)
Who does your hair? The egg beater, lol
The electric socket.
Shocking !
