    Does this caliphate still practice the selling of Africans? One can't help but hear of the selling of people that goes on in Libya.
    It would be interesting to have a series on the Saharan slave trade and finding out what became of these people. The Atlantic slave trade is out in the square but the Saharan trade is hidden under the Aladdin's carpet.

    I am amazed that people cause so much death and destruction in the name of their religious beliefs. I saddens me to my very core.
    Would it not be wonderful if all religions would stop creating God in their image. It's supposed to be the other way around I've been told.😪

    Are the Tuareqs descendants of the Berbers ?
    I learn the Fulani are indigenous to Senegambia basin and the Sokoto Caliphate Emirs pride themselves in Tuareq heritage. Or are they miscegenation of Tuareq and Fulani. Are the Tuareq and Fulani interchangeable in the circumstance ?

      @@mhmgbk9728 fulani is not a tribe but a group they are not all the same and genetic studies have shown they are West African people not from East however some of them mix with berbers through Islam but then lots of west African have berbers in them not just fulani through

      Adebayo Fulani are Niger-Congo children part of the Mende group of west Africa however those in chard and Niger are a bit different to those in Senegambia or northern Nigeria

    This woman needs to study the sokoto caliphate danfadio is only person known to abolish slavery within Africa fact . before making up stuff first igbo yoruba housa and coastal tribes were heavily involved in slavery within Africa and the ashantee people were the worst in Africa genetics studies on fulani show West Africa Danfadio conquered Nigeria not just north but even south yoruba and even igbo his main reason to a obolish slavery and taxation on the people.however his son bello let slavery carry on after the death danfadio
