    Really great video. I appreciate how well spoken, thorough and concise your build explanation is. I have no questions about the build or its usage, you covered everything very nicely. I have had the itch to build another sorc and this certainly looks like a solid place to start. Thank you for the video.

    Well made video. You missed a passive for bound armaments though, having 1-4 daggers up counts towards the 8% max HP passive, but they do not work with the return Magicka passive since they can not "die".

      Plus you get 8% stamina and 10% dmg on light and heavy attacks, it’s very strong

    I have been leveling a stam sorc orc (stamsOrc?) during this event and now I have a build to work towards. I bet this will translate to PVE with minimal effort, swapping to divines will only be beneficial.

    • @ketsparrowhawk34
      @ketsparrowhawk34  4 года назад

      Yeah it's great in PVE! This is one of my favorite chars to take into Imperial City for that reason. Shreds through mobs and handles enemy players nicely. My stamplar setup is the same way. Thanks for the comment!

    Just curious, why not use Potentates bow on back bar for more protection? Or Master bow for more weapon dmg? Just wondering! Does the Morkudin sword go down if it’s not on both bars? Not familiar with the set. Either way, Awesome set! And very informative video 😁

    • @ketsparrowhawk34
      @ketsparrowhawk34  4 года назад +1

      Hello! I like having Morkuldin on the back bar because it allows be to apply a fair amount of ranged pressure. Master Bow would be great, I just haven't taken the time to farm it, plus I try to make a point of using gear that's easy to get (bows are much easier to get now tho!). I don't think I would get much out of Potentates because I'm using mobility to avoid most damage. I'd rather keep the damage output on the backbar.
      Thanks!

    I've been trying to come up with a way to use my Cruel Flurry set. Would a build like this make good use of it? Use rending slashes on the front bar with poison injection on back bar for the single target dots? In the end, would you be giving up too much? Thanks.

    • @ketsparrowhawk34
      @ketsparrowhawk34  4 года назад +1

      I was actually just trying Cruel Flurry on my stamsorc this week! I found the damage to be lacking. Sadly the buff does not apply to Flurry itself. I get more overall damage by keeping the Morkuldin 5pc in-tact. Though I should note that I'm not using Rending Slashes. Cruel Flurry is probably going back in the bank for now.
      The Master's dual wield on the other hand is QUITE strong. You could pair that up with a BRP bow on the back bar, which also applies a crazy strong dot, and wear 5pc Deadly Strikes to buff up Flurry + your dots. That would be crazy strong I think. OR use Master's DW + Blooddrinker and just use Rending as your spammable. My stamDK uses Master's DW + Maelstrom 2h (+ malacath band) and that also works great. XD Okay I'm rambling.
      Btw I need to update this build. I'm using a Master's bow on the backbar now, with 4 well-fitted armor pieces instead of all impen. Otherwise it's all the same.

    Hey Ket SparrowHawk, is this still a great build in bg?

    • @ketsparrowhawk34
      @ketsparrowhawk34  4 года назад

      Hey! Yes definitely! This patch I think mobility is king. Damage is up and healing is down, so using movement to avoid damage is more effective than ever. I’m thinking of dropping toll king so I can use the Torc of Tonal Constancy. I’d probably then drop magnum shot and replace it with dark deal (just rely on streak for my stun). Then go all damage on mundus/jewelry glyphs. Maybe use a master bow on the back bar too. But the build is still great as-is :D

      Adam B. Ah I gotcha. Yeah I think this build is still 100% solid as is. Only change I’d make is changing four pieces to well fitted since we have extra crit resist this patch.

      @@klassic1959 MA is a great option! Armor pots are nice but are kind of antithetical to this build imo. If you're taking advantage of the mobility then you'll rarely take enough damage to require them.

    I’ve been having issue understanding the capped on resource. I’ll go in with 30k magicka and it gets knocked down to 25k. And if I drop it down the 25k it’s knocked down to 23k or so.

      Hello! Your first 300 champion points gives you +20% on all your max stats. When you go into BG’s you lose your CP and thus your max stats are 20% lower. The stats shown in this video are without CP. Hope this helps!

    Would this build be effective for under level 50 play?

    • @ketsparrowhawk34
      @ketsparrowhawk34  4 года назад

      It certainly would! Just about any "complete" build will dominate in under 50 because most players don't have a build together yet.. so you'll have a huge advantage.
      That being said, I personally never invest in a build at all until I hit the gear level cap.

      Hello! I don’t find much value in resistance on a mobility-focused build. Dark Deal is overrated imo. Ofc anyone watching this video should make tweaks to make the build suit their own playstyle. I spend a lot of time with this char and it works great for me.
