This album is so huge for me. Not trying to be overly dramatic or sappy but the truth is...this album was a spiritual healing for me. I had just lost my long time girlfriend to an accidental overdose of prescription pills and just at my lowest point of grief I stumbled across this album. It was all I listened to for maybe 6 months...everyday. I cried alot..but the music sounded like a new beginning..the rising of a new day..of hope. Tom Delonge is a strange guy but I will forever be indebted to him for this stroke of genius and divine inspiration that helped me through the lowest point of my life. It might have saved my life.
Fuck, man. This hits deeper than you probably intended, but that story wrecks me. I went through something very similar, but I was the one on drugs. Shit like this makes me very grateful to be alive. Thank you for a little bit of inspiration, stay strong, and if you ever need someone to talk to please do not hesitate to reach out. “The cure is if you let in just a little more love- I promise you this, a little’s enough.”

I love how Tom is not an ordained minister, but his hinting of God and Jesus through his music is enough to help people out. It is faith and grace that saves, not the stones of law. It is a mustard seed of faith that can move a mountain, and its nice to see such original music helping people!

Even though I don't listen as often as I used to, I still consider AvA my favorite band and one of the greatest of all time. I'm a cynical sometimes bitter 28 year old but this takes me back to when I still had hope...and I realize now that it was never about hope, though it does convey that message. Moreso, I find their music to say sometimes life just isn't good and that's okay. We aren't human beings having a spiritual experience, we are spiritual being having a human experience

Wow, How did I miss this song until Today, I've had it on repeat all day, I've haven't felt music like this song In a long time, wow, Tom really out did himself on this track, it's an instant classic in my music dictionary for life, that intro and middle and then the beautiful ending is too much to go unnoticed, you can feel the ending remnants of Blink-Boxcar in this song leaving Tom but being delivered to us and then you can feel the Angels and Airwaves healing and stitching everything he is together as one. This song is so powerful and life Moving, I love the lyrical message.

This is amazing, i´m so glad i did so much research on blink. It´s sad that i did not know them back then but im grateful i am allowed to experience such a collection of art.
Fuck. I remember listening to this 13 years ago as a completely disillusioned teenager. I still haven't found my path but I'm content and patient, and I believe music like this has a lot to do with how I cope with my problems now. It helps. My life isn't what I thought it would be, but it's still great. If you're listening to this, feeling the same way I did so many years ago, learn from me. I started listening to Angels and airwaves when I was back in college. They have been such a huge part of my life. Their music makes me feel alive and comfortable. When I saw them live for the first time last year I remember crying LOL. Truly though I love this band with all my heart

Such a great album! One of my all time favorites!
Probably my favourite album front to back and has been since it came out. There is not one bad song on this CD. Not because I'm a huge Blink fan or anything. But a great album is a great album no matter the genre. I come from dinosaur rock like Kiss, Crue, Def Leppard, Maiden. But this CD is very dear to my heart.
"turning water into wine" ---reference to Christ? I love how Tom sneaks in God into his music. He's a child of God for sure...heaven would be incomplete without him.
The whole song is a subtle reference to Christ.

Waited til song was over to find out who sang it. Wrote Angels and airwaves on a napkin, the adventure. Went to hastings my day off bought this cd! First album I ever purchased of them🤘

These are some of the best lyrics ever. Even all these years later, I still tear up at the refrain. I listened to this song so much back in the day, crying my eyes out because of my loneliness. I'm still lonely, but at least I can handle it a little better now. It still sucks, though.
