I bought 1 bottle of this and went back after tasting that night and purchased two the next day…saving them for a special meal. Ben has hit it out of the park with this one. Sure it’s same price as Grange and Hill of Grace but deserves to be.
Would be great to one day see you do a tasting bracket of different wines from that one vineyard. Perhaps Glaetzer Eye of Ra Shiraz Chris Ringland Hoffmann Vineyard Shiraz, Izway Don Shiraz, Sami-Odi Hoffmann Dallwitz Syrah, Eisenstone Hoffmann Vineyard Shiraz, Kellermeister Black Sash Shiraz and Soul Growers Hoffmann Vineyard Shiraz all side by side. That would be an incredible tasting.
@@minka8047 Yes both the standard Travis Earth Shiraz and the 909 Shiraz are great wines as well!!! I could have also included the Agricola Ebenezer Shiraz which is also a fantastic wine.
$650.00? Your description Erin suggests this is obviously high quality and I visited the Glaetzer property quite a few years back but not sure if I ever got to taste this at the time. I suppose my question would be...what else could I buy at that price point that would give me an equal quality experience. Maybe even three wines @ $200. Fascinating nonetheless. Thanks.
There's plenty of wines that you could buy with the money, no question it's a premium wine. I suppose if you love the Amon-Ra enough you could justify trying this - maybe in a syndicate with some wine loving friends? That's how I try to organise myself with the more expensive bottles...
Yeah.... but time after time wine tasters can't tell the difference between box wine and expensive wine. Sure, some box wine is trash, but the majority is indistinguishable from expensive stuff.

It is sensational, I agree.

A very talented winemaker!

I agree with you, and the conversation with Adrian Hoffman has already been had. Stay tuned!
He left off The Travis Earth's expression of Hoffman .

@@christophermullan3861 it's no surprise given who his dad is , where he grew up and the wine makers he got to learn from.
