Yeah he was. I think he’s tired of this narrative on him that he can’t throw deep or isn’t as accurate as other QBs. We’ve seen time and again he can throw. A lot of the time his receivers just can’t catch to save their lives. I’m not gonna throw too much stock into it but it is nice to see him getting comfortable with throwing again this season and hope he continues to do so. But, one thing he needs to learn: get rid of the damn ball when there is no play available. Get rid of it, stop trying to make something out of nothing. I get he is a competitor but a lot of the time it bites him in the ass. Even the best players like Brady, Rodgers, Mahomes, they would just toss the ball out if nothing was there. It doesn’t help you, but more importantly, it doesn’t hurt you.

For the past couple of years you watch the inconsistency & lack of leadership. Cowboys won a crucial game against an opponent similar to their level of play. Parsons makes one big play now we are ready. As they say love is blind, as a Cowboy fan dating back to the heart breaking lost to the Colts yes that long, this team has proven to be inconsistent over & over yes the receivers were used as they should, but there's something about this unit that quits when they get punched in the mouth. Once again time will tell, happy to see a good bounce back win but do not get caught up on the hype of this great team, review the Cards game & 49ers to keep it real.

Yeah a win is a win even if it’s an ugly win but this type of performance doesn’t win you anything meaningful in January. He literally purposely winded the clock at the end of the first half. He wanted to guarantee 3 pts and not give the chargers time to get ANY points OR momentum knowing the chargers would get the ball back to start the second half. It might’ve been conservative but Mike knew exactly what he was doing. He stood right next to the ref telling him to wind the clock and then called the TO with 3 secs left for a FG going into half. I liked the obvious control of the clock regardless if I agree with the conservative play call. All the penalties though we’re absolutely bullshit smh gotta clean that shit up on offense AND defense!
This organization needs some Jimmy Johnson(fire) to go with Jerry Jones (ICE) right now. Jerry babies players a little too long. He did it with Zeke. Pollard should have started TWO years ago not just last year. Zeke could have been a blocker. This year it's Michael Gallup, he's a great guy, but he can be a great guy by competing with Tolbert for snaps. Tolbert is a young player that needs reps NOW for this two year window we have. This year and next year to win it all. He can t wait to start getting experience next year. It has to be NOW, if you want him to be a factor when we play the niners again. Stop trying to force feed to ball to Gallup to try and move what is obvious wrong. I don't care if he starts. I'm just saying split there's with Tolbert and let the chips fall where they may. Ceedee can play the slot more with cooks and allow cooks and Tolbert to play the outside more. Tolbert is CLEARLY a more explosive player than Gallup. Don't try to cover him up like he's a baboon or wet behind the ears or something. He needs to play. We know what we saw in the preseason. Cooks looks like a nice red zone threat, we need to find a way to use that. That guy ca. Jump too with his speed he only lacks size, but there has to be a way to use him there in the red zone, but I really feel eventually Ferguson should be the second option. That means the scheme should feature him as the second option on offense behind Ceedee. Fred Warner can't hold him and neither can any other linebacker. He has the size and physicality needed for a short route Texas(west) coast offense. He and ceedee can open things up for cooks and Gallup/Tolbert. Ferguson is a big target that if he is featured it'll help Dak. Ferguson could keep Warner busy or the other LB. And that opens up everything else vs that defense. Ferguson would also help on play action since he is a good blocker and sometimes he can sneak into the open zones. Ceedee should be the first, Ferguson is 2nd, cooks is second for now until Ferguson takes over but then he'll be third and Tolbert can battle Gallup for 4th. Gallup wil probably be full strength next season any way and Tolbert will have way more experience. We have the weapons we just have to utilize them right. Jimmy Johnson would sit Gallup and play Tolbert more. It doesn't matter how much he gets paid and that's what we need right now

I wouldn’t say this one was not meaningful. They had to win because 1. San Fran beat the brakes off of them last weekend and it was nasty. 2. They had to prove they could beat Kellen Moore’s offense so to not look like they made a mistake in letting him walk, or running him out, we still don’t know what really went down. And 3. The team needs to go into a bye win a win. Having a loss hang in your head for 2 weeks can be demoralizing and fortunately they walk away with a win. Now I get it, these are small victories when you look at the long run. Yeah I know Dak hasn’t had much success, if at all, in the playoffs, so I partly agree with you but this was a meaningful game overall. A poorly managed, badly executed game but it matters. They have to win the next one to go into Philly with full confidence. They can’t lose that one for sure.
