Guy wrote this song for his wife Jules. She sometimes doubts herself...This is who Guy Sebastian is...always supportive and loving. So sorry it had to be blurred. You can't go wrong with any of his songs. this is his latest hit. His song 'Choir' won Australian song of the year ..he wrote this to honor his friend & band member who sadly took his own life. Originally written as a ballad...but Guy could never get through it without breaking down. So he made it more of a celebration of his friends life. Fyi, Guy is a Malaysian-born singer and big established star in Australia for the last 22 years already aftr winning the 1st Australian Idol in 2003. He's a seasoned artist who's worked with varoius American performers like Kelly Clatkson and Kit Urban to name afew.. He's also a music producer and isnt a contestant but rather a judge in The Voice Australia and what you just witnessed is another prime example of his songwriting skill because he wrote BELIEVER which you just heard. He also appeared in the 2004 American Idol. He was also formely a judge at XFactor prior to his Voice stint. He's garnered countless music awards with his platinum and gold albums in his lifetime, a philantropist, He's maintained his popularity and presence to this very day.

Guy grew up singing in church, a Christian man, he met his wife as a teenager at a church function. I have heard they both waited until marriage, I believe he still leads by example, if all young people do I'd the same the world would change and marriages would last.

You would probably like most of his songs he is a Christian and writes his own music and has values, so his songs all have meaning. Here are some of them. Battlescars, Choir, Standing With You. Try to do all live performances if you can. Oh he also does a brillant job of Climb Every Mountain, absolutely amazing. 💯

You should really react to his performance on the voice with his song Standing with you! He wrote it to his girlfriend and its all abaout mental health. Its sad and just amazing. And also his home studio version of Battle scars, his control is out of This world...

Guy won Australian Idol in its first year. He is a superb lyricist, musical arranger and singer and when you add that "heart" in the messages he sings, well ... he's outstanding. This song was a message for his wife. Isn't it a beauty? So many of his songs have loving and supportive messages. The man can SING!!

Guy first came to our attention back around 2001 when he won first place on the first season of Australian Idol and has continued to crush it ever since with some of the most amazing work. Such a lovely, down to earth person. He has been one of the judges on the voice for several years now. Others songs you should def check out are Choir, before you go, standing with you, Blood stone, bloodstone...
just to name a few, but see if you can find live versions of them rather than just the music videos. Live versions are always so much better.

Nothing against Guy, but his brother Chris who won the Voice Australia is a much better singer. Guy can't match him for tone, timbre or runs and rifts.
