      Its an old pull type trip plow most are 2 bottoms 14" or 12" moldboards. Oliver, JD, Massey Ferguson and Alice Chalmers all had one of some kind. The rope running to the driver's side is pulled to drop the plow and again to raise it all while moving. No hydraulics. Hunt around they are usually pretty cheap, and some times listed as yard art

  • @BeingMe23
    @BeingMe23 7 лет назад +13

    Actually this is a very old idea. I believe Henry Ford used a model T pickup as tractor, International Scout had a PTO on the rear, Land Rover was used for farming too.
    If this guy would hook up remote hydraulics and use 4 low with Chevron tires it would be a huge tractor.

    Can't hate this video I once got "roped" into trying to steer a single horse plow with the back wheels off a tricycle attached to the tongue to keep it from diving - this was attached to a truck by 100 feet of rope so that the truck was outside the fence at the rental garden plots. There was a board in the middle of that rope for some reason, so when the rope broke when the plow stopped and the Mack in Lo-Lo didn't - the board would fly towards me.
    I hadn't thought about that in a while. Its in the running for dumbest thing I ever agreed to do. Funny video. I still think there is a correct way to do this, but haven't seen it yet.

    Bad idea ? Dont tractors have more torque

      Logan M a tractor with that much torque would be huge. The tractor's advantage in plowing comes from weight, tires, and gearing. A 40 hp tractor would be plenty for the plowing seen in the video imo.

      nojo1099 Jones lol I think it's safe to say it's not a 6.0 liter 12 valve Cummings turbo gas motor.
