Thank You for the video. When I use revolve, the object ends up very truncated. Basically, it makes a polygon instead of a round object. How can I make it a smooth round object?

    Hi Brooke,
When i make your part i am able to EXPORT it as a STL file. When I draw a MY desired part and am successful at REVOLVING it, but when I try to EXPORT it as an STL file I get an error...
    says... (Expects a point or window/Last/Crossing/Box/ ALL/Fence/WPolygon/ CPolygon/Group/Add/ Remove/Multiple/Previous/Undo/ AUto/SIngle.)
Mine is more like a thick walled tube rather than a complete solid. I am trying to paste a photo of my 2d view before I revolve it. But no luck.

Is it possible to revolve periodically? For example, replicate once every 90 degrees over 360 degrees, resulting in four flat structures rather than a continuous structure?

so lets say if you are making something and revolve it less than 360 degrees, and you want to make it a close off 3d shape. i've been using presspull but it always creates a tiny miss alignment, what is the best way to make a 3d surface?

Hi Brooke, liked your video. 1 question, how did you split the screen into 2 on the same project with different views?

I can't get the revolve tool to work and I can't find the join tool. Is that an add on? Joint comes up if I type J
