Boy, I love how everything your skateboard touches flashes out a yellow fart wave. What an innovative game.
you are the most dependable reviewer out there. i've learned that if you aren't excited about it, it genuinely isn't that great and you're almost always spot on.
Tony hawks pro skater and underground were my favourite skating games, the skate series is pretty good aswell
Same here with all the music from tony hawk pro skater 2. friggin loved that game on the ps1

Even though I grew up with tony hawk pro skater and grind, I actually really liked skate and skate 2. It felt challenging but fun and approachable.

There needs to be more bicycle racing games(Tour De France like), be a copy almost of Gran Turismo; like a bicycle tune up shop, numerous championships/quick races, bicycle delearships, bicycle wash, if you win a race, you get a new bicycle (trek, giant, cannondale)

I like how you can buy a game that's cheap thinking you're getting a bargain then you realise... the price was supposed to be a deterrent not a bargain lol
@Zoogle88 I'm not familiar with City of Ember which is why I first thought of THX-1138 when comparing Shaun White Skateboarding's story.

@MrSexologu IT CAN'T BE BECAUSE THE TRICKS ARE DONE WITH THE ANALOG STICK BUT IT COULD BE A PORT FOR PC THAT CAN BE PLAYED ONLY WITH A CONTROLLER OR A ANOTHER VERSION OF IT WITH CONTROLS FOR KEYBOARD OR CONTROLS FOR A CONTROLLER

@BillyCauseyjr Sounds about right. But if they'd had the attitude that the previous poster demanded -- "X can't be beaten; we shouldn't bother trying" -- then they wouldn't have succeeded.

@FastTquick that movie had the same plot as city of ember just in city of embers except it was little kids and not robert duvall, the guy doctor evil was based off, and the token black guy.

@gnarly79 Of course. Both of them are awesome. The only fact I hate is that, some games that are out for the X360, and it should be for the PS3 as well. My friends who has X360, think of the same thing but opposite opinion.

@coskbeatz No, they need to start succeeding. If EA had the attitude that the Tony Hawk series was so firmly entrenched that it wasn't worth trying to beat them, they'd never have developed Skate in the first place.

man, I remember when my dad bought me tony hawk's pro skater 2 for PSOne when I was little. Now everytime I listen to Guerilla Radio or any song that appears in the game reminds me of sweet, sweet childhood...

I should consider seeing if that store I sold my copy of pro skater 2x didn't sell it yet, better than what they call skateboarding games these days (pro skater hd gave me a headache)
If Tony Hawk couldnt top EA Skate games i'm positive this one wont. Dont get me wrong i spent hours as a kid playing THPS2 and i could still play it now, but the new ones seem different maybe the physics, Skate is the most realistic skateboarding game up to date, and i'm glad ive got it

HEY! You should review ""Stoked: Big Air Edition for Xbox360."" I don't have a Xbox360, only a PS3, and I am disappointed that they haven't made it for the PS3. SO that is why you should review that awesome game, that for some reason isn't promoted that much.
this game is fot those wish love tony hawk games and doesnt know nothing about real skate, so good for them

@SDsuperKILLZ ueah, but bmx dont have much groung tricks, bmx needs verts or ramps.. skateboard is more popular and has alot (ALOT) of groung tricks (kickflip heelflip hardflip laser flip 360 flip.....) but if they would make they'er own tricks, and invent stuff, i think it would be awsome. infact, MBX should be avable on skate 4

did not come here to criticize people I came here because I like Marks review style and needed a new skateboarding game. What really annoys me is all the comments putting people down for liking a type of game by saying this skateboarding game is better than that type of skateboarding game and most of these so called hardcore gamers have probably never even been out skateboarding . It was wrong of me to sink to there level and for that I am sorry. I am normal a nice guy
