I was literally able to predict almost every scene..very cliche. But the entire motorcycle scene took me out! Was that grown man on a 250??? LOL. They could have at least, made the motorcycle pipe sound a little more aggressive. Also the scene of them after they "Made love" and were both laying in the paint...hilarious. That scene could have been a little more organic, playful and intimate. It seemed so staged. Also, did I miss something? He is accused of m*rder...but she keeps having meetings at his house/ dark art studio?? We can't meet in my office or in a public place.
The paint scene took me out cause I was thinking, I don't want No paint in my vajayjay! Mine is sensitive and I know that paint can't be good for ur PH balance, JS!
Here’s some trivia: the two dudes who played the husband and the brother-in-law are actual brothers in real life, and are British with accents!

I didn't watch the movie but Black women in the DC area very much pay for the males here and it's been the norm for decades. Whether they make 40K or 140K, it's very much the norm. The desperation here is by far worse than ATL females. DC/ Murrland females are truly pathetic.
That was the worst part. They all talked crazy and I couldn't for the life of me understand why he didn't write in his momma getting stomped out by one of the wives. The momma should have been getting her ass whooped the entire movie😂😂
Right! When the mother openly disrespected her at the table, I was thinking “Now what Black woman about to sit there and eat her food?” Not that she had to turn up and become Madea but I just couldn’t relate.

I'd rather preferred and had seen another Lifetime Christmas movie of hers, than had to deal with this. (And I actually like those, I bought all three, but still lol)
And there were missing plot points: since we now know the girl was alive, whose blood and skull fragments was it? You can’t present all of that DNA in a script and not explain it. I’m assuming that brother ADA planted it but whose blood was that, and how did they know it was hers since she wasn’t even a US citizen?
I was confused by that part as well.

Kelly looked beautiful! Trevante looked delicious. The acting was of course ridiculous. Once it hit the part of her being exposed for cheating, I checked the hell out. Tyler Perry goofiness always has to be inserted in his films.

Tyler Perry needs to get real writers. He try’s to do it all and he is a very poor writer. The dialogue is the normal “weak and slow”. This could have been a 30 min movie. Just Bad all around!! Kelly’s acting was better than the actor who played the lover and he is more experienced. SMH!

Addicted was based on that Zane novel from back in the day. Tyler's rendition was Temptation I think 🤔 same premise, the girl don't want the man she with. Falls for somebody she work with and he crazy.

After 2015, I want to say after the movie, Madea goes to jail that was released with Keisha knight pullman that’s when Tyler Perry went downhill the Madea boo movie should’ve told everybody where he was at with his creative style and then I fall from Grace oh, that was just a nail in the coffin. I didn’t even really wanna watch that but my sister wanted to watch it with me, and it was terrible so ever since then Tyler Perry has gotten dust for me I didn’t like to watch his series like sisters, the oval, none of that stuff because he doesn’t understand black women he rose black women from the point of view of suffering, and just getting cheated on excepting the bare minimum and having multiple sex Scapade it’s never have a moment literally because he’s thinking of his own of bringing a grown-up, poor and watching his modify, a blues and the people around him but he hast to take into account. He’s 50+ years old and that time. Black women didn’t have a lot of options. But it’s like a lot of black men like to view black women from the space of their own childhood traumas with their black mother, not understand that there are 1,000,000+ black woman in the world we have different lived experiences not everybody grows up in the hood. It has a single parent household and it’s toxic black mother or a black mother that sweet, but being abused, but Tyler Perry and the lights of him don’t understand that to me as seems like a lot of black riders are in the notion of black trauma and that’s what they’re trying to sell and that’s with Tyler. Open Winfrey in the likes of them have sold Black people for decades and I’m over that is why I like shows like Abbott elementary that is written by a black woman and she star in the show and I love it because it’s giving comic relief is showing quirky black women quirky black man is something new with something refreshing. I’m stuck at the old gimmicks. It’s annoying and it’s played out.
You’re so right! Madea Goes to Jail was the beginning of Tyler’s creative downfall. I don’t know why he marketed the film as a comedy because it was so dark. Madea + SA + sex trafficking was a bad combination. He completely lost me at Witness Protection Program.
I agree. "The Oval"weirds me out. Bad marriages and gay lovers with no resolution. And his sitcoms are carbon copies of "House of Payne".
