I'm 14 minutes into this podcast and it's already certified "DOPE". Everyone interested in trading needs to get to that stage in their journey when they only take notes and seek out information from actual institutional traders, etc. They don't put as much emphasis on Technical Analysis or day trading as retail do. Fundamentals is what moves markets and it is truly the key to financial longevity, in my opinion. Abdullah, thanks for this video man. Great content!

I agree, fundamentals are a huge part of market. Example, the market tanked within minutes after Putin announced the invasion of Ukraine.

In trading, your first step before you ever place a trade is to form a directional bias.
Some trader's like to use Fundamentals to form that bias, others may like to use Technicals only.
I don't see how one is superior to the other.

After watching this video assumed that this man is an average player
I tend to get confused about how Gold moves. In the example for Inflation, high inflation in the US could mean the FED will be more focused on hiking interest rates to bring down inflation, and this would weaken Gold because of a strong dollar. But at the same time, Gold acts as a hedge against inflation so high inflation would make investors invest more in Gold to protect their capital. How does this work😭

You need to look at this contextually, the economy is a cyclical machine. Gold rising with rate hikes depends on global health of the economy, if there is uncertainty chances are gold may steadily appreciate or at least not drop off a cliff. If the FED are looking to hike rates but there is still growth economically or at least a strong economy then chances are Gold may depreciate. Interest rates and inflation are just one part of the story

Or do you want to pretend you can interpret those data to determine where the market will go next and be in the same direction of the banks ????
Is it easier or interpret fundamentals than to interpret price ?
Or is it same or is fundament better ?
The fact is if the Banks are actually controlling the markets
There this confirms that one.
The banks have a large amount of orders to fill and cannot fill those others at once.
They will analyze Marco analysis and economic to determine the direction to trade in.
But once they trade in that direction
They start the trend and create the largest imbalances in the market.
They create demand they create supply.
And the job of a retial trader is to find this imbalances
Not to try and predict them
You gotta watch this interview at least 5 times over and over again. Too much data to digest
