  • For this episode, Pat was busy with prior obligations in Jackson. In his absence, he turned the controls over to Jake Welch who joined up with John Jackson for a trip to Europe. This year is Jackson’s first season back after two winters sidelined by injuries. Definitely a redemption year for the former award-winning, standard-setting freestyle powerhouse. John shares thoughts on his mental & physical recovery as he & Jake hunt for powder in Switzerland with Kurt Heine, one of snowboarding’s most experienced filmmakers. John J is hyped to be back on snow and feeling strong so the crew turns lemons into lemonade and laugh their way through tough snow conditions as John bags his first airtime in years.

    Great to see John J back on a board as there are only so many times you can watch his Forum parts!
    I'm lying, I could watch them all for eternity!
    Pat including old Forum buds is always a nice touch.

      I thought a booter was just a really big kicker

    • @Daniel-oz5dm
      @Daniel-oz5dm 9 лет назад

      Booting something is like a really hard kick so i guess thats what its from

    • @SnipingCons
      @SnipingCons 9 лет назад

      from what I've read I think a booter sends out further rather than higher and a kicker sends you higher rather than further, I have been skiing for 14 years and just started doing freestyle this year and I still am not sure the exact difference it would be great if an actual pro could respond
