At some point, we’ve all probably looked up at birds and wished we could fly. And some curious people took that wish and did science! From the biology of flying animals to machines that help humans take to the skies, this week, we’re exploring the science of flight.

I think Ceri saying "the only thing i have to rely on is science!" Could make good merch lol
A plush that says that when you squeeze it. XD
I love how good the comedic timing was even in the early episodes. Stefan's "Ah, so non-breeding season" was brilliant
havent seen a stefen episode in a while
The Jan 29 2019 Butt One More Thing fact is unbeatable
on the topic of dandelion seeds/gliding/unpowered flight i feel like you really missed the obvious answer of what to call it: falling with style
That's basically what the ISS is doing as well. 😂 Dandelions and Space have so much in common, who knew?!
Some great bird facts! Thank you for sharing here, always a joy to listen to~
(The improper transport of) oxygen generators are what caused the Valujet flight 592 crash in the Florida Everglades
8:23 Just making my own educated guesses, in planes I'm pretty sure they don't use oxygen tanks, but rather little compressed oxygen making chemistry kits because oxygen is dangerous. I'm pretty sure the government would've let that guy die but you never know. My vote's for the guy who kept going and got shot by the farmer, now I'm going to go see If I'm right!
Huh! Faith mildly restored in the government I guess? Thanks scishow? 😂
Ahhhh the butt one more thing!! 💩 😂😂
We don't get to see your faces today?
This one is from 2019, they may have had it as purely an audio podcast
I guarantee Stephen A don't believe or care THAT deeply about 1/2 of the stuff he say when the camera's on.
And honestly, I'm not sure if that's even shade. Cuz most of people's heroes do the same damn thing if they have a platform.
