The new artifacts, the 4 star weapon that is meant for her shown in her trailer all shows that mihoyo designed her to a character that wont use burst most of the time. Only time to use her burst is when u wanna switch to sub dps or healer

@@adrianlevampiro4567 hopefully won't. see how yoimiya design is, they knew the mistake they made with hutao and ganyu, so they are very focus on not making single unit too powerful. Yoimiya's Q is clearly mean to do AOE damage in the beginning, but they change to single target because that will instantly make ganyu more powerful than she already is, and made yoimiya a fire bot for ganyu, also they made a bow that only yoimiya can use for full potential so that they put part of the character's power to the weapon itself. the same pattern you can see in Raiden shogun, 30% of her power is in the weapon, and another 30% is in constellation, even another 5-10% is in another character Sara, which mean a C0 raiden shogun with a 4 star weapon is rather weak, more or less the same compare to C0 yoimiya therefor balance overall for existing characters and future characters, whale will still melt everything but F2P and monthly card player will not get character that instantly replaced by new character. but the clear problem is the power gap between F2Per and a whale is getting bigger and bigger each release, while genshin is a single player game that power gap doesn't mean much since there is no PVP, it helps mihoyo to retain F2Per and pleased whales at the same time.

honestly yoimiya is a beast. her dmg is insane even at c0. i have amos bow on her and not so good artifacts and she can still hit 20k+. her kit and gameplay could be refined a bit tho but i doubt mihoyo will ever do that
I had a triple crowned R5 widmisth yanfei at lvl 90. Decided to build my Yoimiya I got purely by accident. She does WAY more damage at lvl 80. It is actually insane.
Pairs best with Raiden/Beidou, Xinqui, Bennet IMO.
I'll definitely poll for her when she is back. I couldn't get her because I just wasn't playing the game yet
I got C1 Yoimiya earlier on the game and with a Rust and Shimenawa artifacts, she can hit ~20k (32k max)
I got yoimiya by pure accident and now im so insanely confused who shall i completed build first, i got yan fei team comps that almost nearly done and i got eula nuke comps and still pretty bad cuz mihoyo love to see me suffer and i got childe elecharged team comps that i completely never finished and im planning to build yoimiya but i changed my mind and decide to build eula n yanfei first or other. @@skyknightu Yo ngl Runaan's effect on Yoimiya would actually be a great way to compensate for her single-target disadvantage and to not steal Klee's one trait since many wanted AoE on her AAs. Even if the 2 extra bolts coming from her E were to deal %damage from her original attacks, my soul would be satisfied.

I would assume C6 Klee with TTDS would perform similarly to C6 Amber with Elegy. Burst on Klee for Noblesse buff would come out slower, but I'd imagine the explosion would deal more damage. The defense shred, Pyro bonus, and TTDS buff should be close to Amber's burst attack buff and Elegy buff. So in conclusion, I think he just wanted to show off Amber.

Amber's burst has like no ICD (internal cool down) which makes actually the best shield break in the game funny enough, if we ever get a Cryo Abyss Herald / Lector I love to see Amber delete its phase 2
Disclaimer: Diluc is not a bad character at all. Amazing DPS, but since all of his attacks are single hit it takes a little longer then Yoimiya and Hu Tao

yoimiya is actually so good especially when enemies are flying all over the map, whereas c0 hutao runs into stamina issues chasing the enemy
I use Yoimiya with Beidou, Raiden, and Zhongli as an overload focused comp and it makes the game so brain-dead hahaha no more precise rotation needed/funnelling, dodging, and chasing enemy down

Considering that hes a 1 year old unit, I'm surprised diluc can still put up those times, especially since he doesn't have an absolutely busted 5* weapon like homa or the thundering pulse
People undervalue atk% but its equally as important as crit damage. And as for diluc having wgs allows him to use em sands which is powerful.
@@Badkhela crit damage scales harder lategame than attack%, especially in the whale territory where iwtl is comparing the 3. Also wgs passive, however amazing it is, is hp gated whereas homa's passive is basically on demand and thundering pulse is pretty much the same except you have to attack something. Wgs is an amazing weapon but when compared to homa and thundering pulse, it stands no ground

Yeah that was the only reason yoimiya had a faster run than hu tao, resisitance shredding alongside a lot more pyro bonus, especially that those samurais have high resistances last time i checked

diluc main since 1.1. here ladies, he's fine no matter what is the weapon. it doesn't matter since his kit is mainly for charged attacks. ppl seem to ignore it a lot... c'mon his passive makes his ult more long, gives pyro damage, and decrases his charged atk stamina. making him just like hu tao,, actually. and i mean come on he's a claymore user. sadly they don't remove his normal atks like Eula's.

One thing to consider is that the Thundering Pulse and Staff of Homs are both broken weapons for their respective characters and Diluc has no five star weapon equivalent since there are no crit rate or damage five star claymores.
Pulse and Homa aren't busted because of crit. They're busted because of their passives. Crit is not the end all be all of needed stats. He has a lot of videos on what perfect artifacts and stat balance looks like if you want to see how important atk% actually is.
@@TheDreadedJuggernaut Yeah attack is important but I feel as if Wolfsgravestone gives too much attack considering the fact that it has a high base attack, has an attack percentage substat, and the passive gives even more attack. I feel like it would be a better weapon if either the substat was changed to crit rate or damage or if the passive was changed so that it did something else besides giving more attack. I haven’t done the math though so I could be wrong.

I think Dragon is spot on about Gravestone, it's the best DPS Claymore we have atm but basically any Crit% 5* would be better, just because you can easily stack enough Atk buffs through supports; Gravestone's Atk bonuses fall into diminishing returns. A Crit% weapon with a solid passive will blow Gravestone out of the water.

The thing about Diluc is that he feels really safe and reliable for some reason (gameplay wise)? So I'm not too bummed about him losing DPS races. Also, is it just me, or do his constellations actually make his comboing less efficient?
EDIT: Also, Yoimiya is definitely strong enough, it's just her kit's design that is way worse than it could be. As much as I love her.

Yeah, the difference is that dilluc's difference from C0 to C6 is not as big as the new characters C0 to C6 difference, in the end these times are more even if they were all C0 I think
Yeah, Diluc may not be OP/meta but he is that reliable good character, especially for new players. I like to think of him as the threshold between good and great DPS.
I think he's the kind that we all felt safe using at first but all ended up shelving eventually, and new players will probably do the same.

He didn't use amber to achieve that time. He probably ran a dps kazuha (actually I checked and he did, his kazuha anemo DMG alone was doing 35k not including swirl which even as a whale is impossible to do unless you run him as a dps), in iwintolose video he actually used yoimiya to do DMG. But, also, hutao cannot utilize kqzuha because of the pryo apication problem and all teams needs zhongli for 12-1-1. So this is a very messy situation, kazuha did indeed carry yoimiya but bexause she works with him.

I enjoy using Diluc the most, his playstyle is complex and I like it and another reason why Diluc took longer to defeat every boss is because his scalings are a bit low but he can clear everything in game, and another thing that no one can change is, HE IS THE STRONGEST PYRO CHARACTER IN LORE ;)
I still love the Pyro Batman. Newer characters output more damage. But he's a classic. 😎 And very player friendly.

I also think it's important to note that Diluc has a relatively outdated weapon at this point while Yoimiya and Hu Tao each have a weapon tailored to their kit as well as the best general option in their respective classes. Diluc would receive an indirect buff if a new claymore released that better suited him. This logic follows for f2p as well; since your Hu Tao, Yoimiya and Diluc more than likely don't have a 5* weapon, they're on a more even playing field than this video.
Them don't having a 5* weapon suggests that we possess all of them. I only have Hu Tao and she actually has a 5* weapon even tho it's Skyward Spine + she has some decent artifacts
Just give diluc food buff & pyro oil, its moor than enough for f2p to compare if there in the future better claymore for diluc

Thundering pulse also doesn't work well with the shimenawa set for Yoimiya, since it contradicts it. So your point isn't exactly correct
An r5 dragon's bane which is a four star does similar amounts of damage to an r1 staff of Homa so your statement isn't exactly correct. So, if you just got a bit lucky with the weapon on standard/character banner over the course of a year, you could basically have a staff of Homa without ever pulling on staff of Homa.

best thing about yoimiya is you can spam basic attack with zhongli's shield and not need to move
This is such a great showcase of how good Yoimiya can be! I think the biggest “problem” with Yoimiya isn’t so much her, but the fact that this game just favors big burst damage comps more with vape + melt. Hu Tao’s kit just favors burst damage all around, versus Yoimiya who pumps out tons of damage numbers.
I wouldn’t mind if Yoimiya got a buff, but I think who really needs a buff is Electro reactions… At least then Fireworks team comps can feel more competitive to melt/vape.

Well, I thought I was a Diluc fan until I realized I'm supposed to be farming Crimson Witch every single day. Sorry, Diluc, I clearly don't deserve you. He may be slow, but still one of my favorites. It just gives me a little more time to enjoy bonking things in style.
Honestly any Pyro character mains knows how painful farming Crimson witch set is , but when you do get a good piece , it feels like heaven

For an OG DPS, diluc is still relevant till today, almost a year after the game launch. When mihoyo release C Dmg claymore with crazy ass substat i believe diluc will come on top again

On the Primogeo, Yoimiya could've had the same clear time as Hu Tao when you triggered the Shime set properly. You used burst, which drained her energy then used her E. And we all know there's a +50% damage increase on your normal attacks when you use the character's E.

What I took away from this:
- Overworld and Abyss are wildly different scenarios and performing well in one means nothing for the other
- if Diluc is the low end these days, Yoimiya is going to be just fine
- Diluc can still clear Abyss competitively, which means anyone who can beat him can't be called trash unless you're a hater

5 stars claymores are just can't compete with homa and thundering. Wgs only gives him attack which at somepoint it would get diminishing return. While homa and thundering has different scaling to avoid diminishing return.
Yes, his passive increase the charged atk, but there is no room for using it. Idk what mihoyo thinkin. Just waste of passive slot, just like keqing passive.

This is my biggest pet peeve with Genshin discussions. The only reliable talk about a character's abilities is when it's tested at its absolute peak performance. That means max constellations and refinements. So if you're a f2p, you're basically reduced to he-said, she-said on whether something's good or not

Have to take note: Yoimiya's team in Abyss 12-1 had Kazuha dealing 11.8k Overload damage + 6.7k Swirls in AoE. Basically, in all the floors, the team had the advantage of insane AoE swirl damage and chain reactions thanks to Kazuha. Of course, let's not forget the R5 Freedom-sword Sword :3

at the end of the video when he shows them being used properly in the abyss all the pyro dps perform very much similarly so there is no point in being sad. imo diluc is satisfying because he smashes things with a claymore and tosses enemies around because his smashes are so devastating.
his ult get clowned on because of the long animation but its super stylish and cool. im pretty sure people that min max would rather his ult have no animation at all just to eek out more dps but at the end of the day this is just a casual pve game. animations>dps.

Not surprised at all and I think that Yomiya's best team comps will take advantage of her high attack speed by using off field supports that attack when your character attacks. One of the other reason's for building a team that way is that all that off field dmg will also proc her burst. So you can do stupid shit like Yomiya, Fischl, Xinqui, Albedo, this is not a viable team unless you're a god at dodging however the sheer amount of procs that take place onscreen is ridiculous.
Idk if many ppl know or remember but Oz can also proc Albedo's E. Overally if you like just seeing huge single numbers which it seems like the vast majority of this playerbase does Yomiya is not for you. If however you like seeing the boss's hp just quickly drain away due to an onslaught of attacks from bought you and your off-field supports you'll probably have some fun with her. I know I certainly have.
Exactly this, my Yoimiya, Albedo, Fischl, Bennett team just breeze thru the abyss. Maybe other teamcomps would do better, but for overload team, my pick is gonna be Yoimiya hands down and I can free my Xingqiu for the other team.
I also really enjoy playing Yoimiya in coop because I can do high dmg and ALSO buff my teammates’ atk and in return they prog my burst which is just super fun - also I did coop with an Albedo main and it was crazy how much Yoimiya profited off of him 10/10

The most crazy thing that happened to me in this game was getting Yoimiya and Diluc in the same 10pull. Until then my only fire dps was the rock'n'roll girl.

The only caveat I can think of is for the multi phase fights having Vape would significantly increase how much Diluc could do in one infusion potentially doing it in one go. That being said it doesn't change the result just could be better time comparisons is all.

Diluc's down side in this is that his burst is not a single hit damage and it's animation casting time.
But those are also two things I like about him so a few seconds of animation doesn't bother me.. hehe
the only downside to his burst is pushing enemies away honestly
@@breadman8100 but it only push small enemies, and because it pushes them they end up getting all the ticks of his burst.. if it did staggered and pushes larger enemies as well or if it didn't pass through large enemies it would be better...
It doesn’t matter if it bothers you or not the point is it’s a hit to his dps due to being in the animation for so long. Which for the sake of comparing dps is a bad thing.

Is it possible that one day you might make a dps showdown with the starter characters? I understand if not, but I just think it would be super interesting to see and I would love to get a glimpse of how they could perform and see them used in an end game setting.

yes, starter free toon with F2Per obtainable R5 4 stars weapons would be nice. the problem for the 3 starters are, they are harder to get to C6 than 5 stars.

Polearms and Bows hit a lot faster than Great swords

I think Freedom Sworn Kazuha would've boosted Diluc more than Bennett here, since WGS is atk overload already.

Maybe he has c6 Bennett? The pyro damage% on Bennett's ult would probably help bridge the gap, although c2 Kazuha gives a chonky EM to boost Vape so idk, Kazuha might be better.

Batman's passive talent and 5 star weapon is pretty meh. Diluc still has huge potential in the future when a crit rate/dmg 5 star Claymore finally comes out 😊
True. I highly doubt he can out dps Hu Tao though. The Staff of Homa is just too good on her and her entire kit is too good against single target enemies. I think Diluc with a 5 star crit claymore could probably be better than Klee maybe?
