Machines of Our Disgrace marks the 5th full-length studio album for industrial music pioneer Circle of Dust, after a near 20 year hiatus. Created by artist/producer Klayton, best known for his multi-genre project Celldweller, Circle of Dust returns to Klayton’s industrial roots with metal riffs, pulsing electronics and catchy songwriting.
Klayton pushes the envelope of fusing modern metal and electronic production with gritty industrial noise & samples on Machines of Our Disgrace, while incorporating both aggressive and melodic vocals with thought provoking lyrics about man’s technological evolution. Songs like “Contagion” and the title track “Machines of Our Disgrace” question our relationship with technology while “alt_Human” and “Neurachem” explore the world of biohacking and genetic modification. The tracks “Hive Mind” and “Humanarchy” provide commentary on man’s place in modern society’s political and scientific moral ambiguity. The emotionally charged “Outside In” shows Klayton’s softer side in a heart-gripping track with lush harmonies, acoustic guitars, pulsing sound design and introspective lyrics.
Machines of Our Disgrace is the album fans have been waiting for the last 20 years and is sure to stand as one of Klayton’s crowning achievements. In anticipation of a brand new album, Klayton remastered and re-released the entire Circle of Dust back-catalogue in 2016, featuring the albums Circle of Dust (self-titled), Brainchild, Metamorphosis, Disengage and a side project titled Argyle Park, each originally released in the 90s.

Looking up word definitions so you don't have to. In this context and other contexts used in Klaytons music the "Neophyte" is a new religious convert.
One more definition is a type of plant growing in a place where no other samples of it's kind exist.
I ask myself why have I not listened to these songs earlier?

I believe the entire album was rereleased in an instrumental form.
At first i thought that voice says "they will be dead"
But listen closely, and you'll actually hear the word 'deaf' instead. Which completely changes the context.

I've figured it out. The reason Klayton's music is so alien sounding, is because he's just visiting from the Orion system to give us some good tunes with some knowledge embedded. Case 1 - earlier mention of the Pleaides in (Pleidian Sisters? Can't remember track name)
Case 2 - Circle of Dust's seeming focus on the turn the human race is taking, machines of our disgrace, alt-human. Orion's end goal being - depending - either to harvest the human race (reptilian) or shed light on the darker aspects of human nature, as the songs do.
Case 3 - this is all very serious dark-war space music. That's some Orion vibes.
Case 4 - end of an empire, warning about the fall of the major powers in the world at the moment, say what the China-US trade war is starting to ignite. No system eternal, no one immortal.
Case 5- Aliens. I mean, Prometheus was really just an Orion ship, I tell you. It got locked in a stasis weapon and is looping through it's destruction. The pulling out of the intestines every day in the myth of Prometheus is really just a metaphor for the ship imploding endlessly.
Case 6 - just listen to this song. Look up. the human race is just scuttling around like a bunch of ants.
Do I really believe this stuff? No, maybe, yes? But theories are entertaining.

Speaking as a person who isn't a big fan of COD beyond a few tracks, this doesn't really sound that much like a COD track to me. It sounds like a slightly heavier Celldweller track, which is probably why I really like it.
As a COD fan since 1992, I gotta say I disagree. His debut as well as third album Disengage were more danceable at times. Old school electro industrial meets thrash metal, if you will. Check out the songs Parasite, Nightfall, Waste of Time, and my personal favourite Onenemy, if you are into this track.
