She was supposed to be besties with Marilyn but I can’t seem to find one pic of them together. She has pics of her with everyone in town including Elvis. Marilyn’s biographer has publicly called her a liar. I always liked Jeanne and she is the epitome of old school Hollywood. She was basically a party girl who was talented and self confident.

ROUND ROUND GET AROUND I GET A ROUND !...I GET ROUND ROUND ROUND ROUND I GET AROUND..GET ROUND... I GET ROUND ALL AROUND TOWN ..I GET AROUND I GET AROUND ALL OVER TOWN.....
Jeanne Carmen’s friendship with MM was mentioned a lot in the meticulously researched and lauded biography Goddess: The Secret Lives of Marilyn Monroe by Anthony Summers, a British journalist. She and M were neighbors for years at an apartment building on Doheny. Jeanne’s exploits have been documented in enough places that I believe her. Who knows if she embellished, but there are plenty of photos of her with some of the people she mentions like Dean Martin, Elvis. The mink coat thing is something Marilyn did from time to time, so it probably happened. There was no way to live next to MM during that period and NOT to have known her, they ran in the same circles. As for Donald Spoto’s comments or book, he is known to be a National Enquirer type journalist/author, so his info is best taken with a huge grain of salt!
@Sara Murphy: Yes, I read the book as soon as it came out. (Summers' book~~~actually I have read them both.) I am not done with this terrible interview yet, (it's hard to watch with Skip Lowe being the interviewer), but what bothers me about the Jeanne Carmen story is that there is not one picture, one Birthday card, one note, NOTHING from Jeanne to substantiate that she was a "good friend" to Marilyn. There is nothing. I do believe she knew Marilyn, (Sinatra had all of his BROADS stashed in the same building), but I do not think she was as close to Marilyn as she says. Seems to me Jeanne Carmen made her income in the second half of her life from talking about Marilyn. Always about Marilyn. She made money off of Marilyn. If Jeanne was off and on with Sinatra, Marilyn would not have liked her one bit. Jeanne would have been competition because she was younger and Frank was into her. Marilyn didn't have ANY real friendships, let alone one with a woman who would sleep with practically anyone, and particularly, a friendship with a woman who was interested in a man that Marilyn wanted.
Seriously? If they were such GREAT friends, why is there not ONE pic of them together? If fact, I’ve not seen ONE of these pics you’re talking about. I met and had lunch with Jeanne and her son at Marilyn’s anniversary of her death (94). Marilyns sis was also there. She also told me she never trusted nor believed one word Jeanne ever said. I’d post pics (which I DO have BTW) but this platform doesn’t allow it. You’d never know a thing about Jeanne if it weren’t for her “relationship” with Marilyn. 🙄🙄
All these famous men I hear her talk about in her interviews, how is it possible there are no pictures of her and all these famous men? Couldn't find except one picture of her with her "best" friend Marilyn Monroe? From her stories with Marilyn Monroe, the two sure slept arounddddd, like a lot. Her stories are amazing to listen to tho.
It annoys me with all the double standards in the comments. It's OK for men to sleep around and "love women " but a woman is condemned for having an active sex life... . 😑
There is a culture reason for that. Men don’t have babies. Now with DNA analysis paternity is easy to determine, but historically what man wants to support some other man’s child? Of course now, with assisted reproductive technology, a woman can give birth to a baby that is not hers, but historically if a woman gave birth the assumption is the baby is genetically hers.
Get her book! It's a great read. MY WILD WILD LIFE. And it includes so much more about the murder of Marilyn Monroe, and who did it and why. As she said in this interview, " . . . the Kennedy brothers were 'monsters'."
She is still a beautiful woman and I assume most men would still find her alluring. If only he would let her finish a story.

That's the execrable Skip E. Lowe with the mic. He's like an Ed Wood character. Amazingly, actual Hollywood actors turned up to be given this treatment. Martin Short's "Jiminy Glick" character is based on this bizarre little monster.
😅😂😂
Worst interviewer ever. Kept interrupting and won’t let her finish telling her stories
Donald Spoto writes in his Marilyn biography that there is no record whatsoever that Jeanne ever met Marilyn, other than her saying so.
This broad is as phony as a 3-dollar bill! Probably got paid plenty for this trash!
@@MJLeger-yj1ww Her voice is so low AND she reminds me of a man!
@@RubySlippers1100 LOL! Perhaps "it" is!
yes. ive read several monroe biograhies, including spoto's, and i also have noticed that carmen was NEVER mentioned. nor was shelley winters, no matter what winters has always claimed.
@@sandragrant8271 Proof that biographies can omit some realities.
I find her so very interesting! And how good she looks at an older age....
It's called plastic surgery, put her too close to a fire, and the lier would melt
Hell yes.🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹🌹
Except i think she has a little too much "sag" and a parchment decolletage for a dress or blouse neckline cut open down the cleavage.
Agree she needs to put those away, ugghh.
They are moving the camera around trying not to see her cleavage to be so obvious.
Very classy lady i can see why everybody liked her.
She's a right about girls dressing up these days That goes for men as well no style anymore
I don't believe this woman is honest and so many of Marilyn Monroe's real Hollywood friends swears she never knew this woman .
I think when you leave home at 13 like she did, she learned to lie and use her body to survive...She probably only had one thing in common with MM & I suspect she was also a victim of molestation by someone...and as for poor M.M that was a sadly a constant in those foster homes she was passed around in and orphanages too!!
@@MsLiberty101 yep thinking the same thing and she got good at to I wish I could write a full of shit book and get away but I couldn't they wouldn't even corn hole me lol
Jeanne Carmen had an ENORMOUS amount of stories about her and Marilyn, and not once were they photographed together. Not one shred of evidence that they were friends like a letter or something.
@@_angelofwar yeah I was curious about her and that dude that claimed to be her Bf Shelly Winters knew Marilyn and she said in interviews that she never heard of either 1 of them .
Omg - this lady is pure gold!!! I only wish the interviewer went in in much more depth into the wonderful stories as they go along...,IMO it skips to the next story too fast and I want all the details. She’s gorgeous too and she is a broad. I love that! Broads rule the world! ( pssst I am a broad too....)
Me too.
I dont know her age but she is very pretty.
Someone said she was 70 here but I find that hard to believe...I guess with a good doctor anything possible though.
1930-2007. Died at age 77.
During this interview they mentioned Sinatra in away that sounds like he was still alive and he died in 98. Film quality appears to be 90s. She was born in 1930 so she was definitely in her 60s here, probably mid 60s and looking great
@@leetate1963 1984
She’s still beautiful. But what year is this.
Jeanne Carmen was also.a famous golfer with trick shots.
She should have made golfing her career. Who knows what kind of fame she may have had. Instead, she chose the party chick life. Sad.
Really wish I could have met Jeanne Carmen....she hit the nail on the head about the glamour being gone...and Marilyn
She was always a classy and beautiful woman!
💐 Great plastic surgeon! I like her because of her straightforward approach. Jeannie Carmen would be a great friend.
Her and Marilyn Monroe can rest in peace two best friends
lol... Monroe didn't know this woman...never met her..certainly was not her roommate and positively was not a friend....lol....you fools
I can't believe how far a person would go with flat out lies against someone, for money.
she is telling the truth, I feel it, I like her and feel a connection . The part about being with Bobbie and me , yes, she is right and in this life I did so much of the same type of stuff when I was younger.
LOL Sorry, but we don't believe her just because YOU "feel it"
She looks good for her age.
So many coming out saying they knew Marilyn or big stars in the day. She left her husband on the side of the road?
Very beautiful blond hair ....fits well for her...pretty lady !!!!
She was awesome! I love her Old Hollywood style.
Great interview! Very much enjoyed it.
"I did find out that blondes have more fun." Says it all! Definitely not a victim of the Hollywood couch. You have to admire her sexual confidence in a man's world.
May she rest in peace
Looks fabulous. Love that smooth soft voice. God knows who she is. Not to worry.
this guy is a terrible interviewer....as she was about to divulge some info, he would interrupt her on his own agenda....was he even listening? hang it up guy, you need to retire from your gig.....time to go fishing or playing golf. yes, she has had work but even at that, she looks great.
Vikki Nicholson I totally agree. Awful.
He’s dead so probably won’t see anymore of his interviews.
This must be a very old interview ... 💨
@@funeralangel8262
The video is old because Jeanne died in 2007.
@@davidadams2395 Wow ...
I love this lady 🤷🏾♀️
She reminds me of Keanu Reeves' mother, both gorgeous, both have good plastic surgeons. If Marilyn had lived I wonder if they'd have used the same docs.
At 59 seconds I thought he was going to stumble and say 'ah, really, you live in New Boob beach..'
😂
She was stunning, so beautiful inside and out. She was such a great conversationalist. I don't know if she really knew Marilyn, but was also such a warm, sensitive, understanding person. RIP JC, love you. ❤❤
She knew Marilyn very well. They were roommates and did a lot of thing together. She was also MM confident at times😊
Yes she knew Marilyn. Jeanne Carmen was my Aunt and we talked often.

Sounds like she’s had few bones buried in her 😛😛
I'm sure you're right, but I'll reserve comment.

Awful interviewer. And he kept saying her full name. So annoying mun
What year was this?
@@debbiecalifornia138 Agree!!!
Sara Murphy Funny Sara BC Marilyn NEVER lived anywhere “for years”. Jeanne is a well-known LIAR in old Hollywood! True story!
@@debbiecalifornia138 Can you trust anyone in Hollywood?
All these famous men I hear her talk about in her interviews, how is it possible there are no pictures of her and all these famous men? Couldn't find except one picture of her with her "best" friend Marilyn Monroe? From her stories with Marilyn Monroe, the two sure slept arounddddd, like a lot. Her stories are amazing to listen to tho.
Yes if l knew marilyn monroe I would make sure to get a photo taken with her . You need provenance to back up your story .
It annoys me with all the double standards in the comments. It's OK for men to sleep around and "love women " but a woman is condemned for having an active sex life... . 😑
IKR, it's so hypocritical
I can't help but wonder about how often she dealt with VD...
70 and still advertising
Well said J J, girl power! 👍❤️
I've been searching and can't seem to find a picture of her and her extremely close friend Marilyn. Anyone?
HOLY COW ...HOW IN THE HELL DOES THIS GUY HAVE A JOB
seems like this women was hollywood's unofficial call girl
yes she was. she, still dies interviews with her sagging tits out. Best friend my ass.
