Side note: When journalists are researching a news story, why not also make a minimal effort to get the pronunciation right for names like Szájer and Fidesz? Rather than simply guessing based on some vague knowledge of Polish or "Eastern" languages. It's such a simple basic thing to look up or ask someone in your professional or personal network. Even an intern could do this.
