I was worried that this attempt was going to turn out cursed about halfway through the video, but you actually made it look only semi-cursed by the end, which is a credit to what you were able to do despite being so limited in what you had to work with.

By the way, about the eyes, in the original 2d games Sonic had black eyes, while his modernized 3d version in the newer games he has green. In the movie, he can power up with energy, and when he does, his eyes turn blue, while normally their green. Also, in the video games Sonic DOES have skin colored arms, while in the movie he has blue.

Sonic Mania has a bit eye animation
Same for pixel games(black eyes)
But the normal sonic has green eyes
Super Sonic has red eyes
And powerup Sonic(lightning aura) has blue eyes
