Ladakh Road Trip, Part - 7 || Pangong Lake To Chumathang

In this episode of my Shimla to Leh journey, we leave behind the mesmerizing Pangong Lake and head towards Chumathang, a serene village nestled in the heart of Ladakh. The landscape shifts dramatically as we drive through winding mountain roads, crossing over barren deserts, lush valleys, and towering peaks. The journey is filled with breathtaking views of vast open plains, rugged terrain, and distant snow-capped mountains.
We stop at several points along the way to capture the quiet beauty of the high-altitude desert, encounter unique wildlife, and explore the rustic charm of the region. Chumathang, known for its hot springs, provides a perfect spot to relax and unwind after the long, dusty ride. The hot springs are said to have healing properties, and we take a moment to soak in the warmth while surrounded by the majestic Himalayas.
Throughout this vlog, I share insights on the road conditions, tips for traveling through Ladakh’s remote areas, and the cultural nuances of these lesser-known villages. It’s an episode full of raw natural beauty, adventure, and tranquility as we continue our journey through one of the most stunning landscapes on Earth.
