    This is the best explanation and demonstration of the German safety systems I've come across so far. Thankyou. I keep getting caught out with the 1000hz magnet. Initially I think I was going past it too fast, resulting in the emergency brake application.

    I've played all the train sim games.... I love them but struggled with German safety systems. At long last with the help of this very good video I now get it !!!! Thank's, it's a sub and like from me! Can't wait for TSW 4. When you part with your pennies... just remember TSW are the best Train Sim's.....

    I've been playing tsw2020 for about 385 hours and never used safety systems. I have Tsw2 and Tsw4, but still stuck with tsw2020! 😅
    I literally found out about safety systems 3 days ago as I was playing Main Spessart Bahn. I jumped into it, with the help of visual tutorials like yours and the game tutorial provided with MSB, and spent several services where I'd fail to acknowledge pzb. After like 4 services where I was failing many times it all fell into place! 🙏🏼 And learning it gave a whole new dimension to playing TSW!

      Oh wow! I can't believe you have gone this long without playing some massive upgrades to the series!
      It has improved so much since then, lighting, sky, detail etc.
      Was there a reason for sticking with 2020 for so long? Lol
      Anyway Im glad this video has helped you have a bit more understanding of PZB, LZB etc.
      It does add soooo much more depth to the game, it definitely keeps you alert! 😂
      Yea myself have been playing the series since 2020 and love it, I think I have about 300hrs in each lol

      😂 So to answer your first question; I was actively playing Tsw2020 when it came out, but I started with NTP, then followed up by playing WSR. Till I got all the trophies. Then I stopped for a while, and then picked the game up again just when TSW2 got released. I bought it, buuuut...At that time I was playing GWR....but since I love those achievements and have a difficult time moving until I get my platinum (PlayStation trophies), I stick around. Then another couple of years passed and just when TSW4 got released (bought that one too 😅) I was only missing the Mile Muncher Trophy for the class 166 (drive 1660 miles) on the GWR. The problem now is that there are two trophies that require tons of time to get; all services on RT or MSB...and the one NYF or LIRR! And I don't cheat (I've read that you can spawn at the end of each service, take control of the train, lock the doors after passengers have completed embarking/disembarking, and get the service completed)...I drive my services 😅 oh the dilemma..
      I've played around 26 hours on TSW 2, but without those achievements for TSW2020 it's so hard to move on!😭

    Questions:
    1. 12:09, why 85 and 70
    2. 13:27 what happens if i do not acknowledge the magnets and what button is it on keyboard
    3. 15:17 why does the blue bar to the left of the speedometer say “99” and ”100x”?
    4. 15:27 why does it say “Ü” to the right of the speedometer?
    5. 15:36 How did you know that it was the maximum speed of the route?
    6. 17:07 how did you know that the track limit was 230 and that the train was breaking for 160
    7. How do I know what safety system zone I am in?
    This tutorial was amazing, loved the video!

    • @Fat_Cat_Caravan
      @Fat_Cat_Caravan  8 месяцев назад +4

      Hi, firstly thank you for you're comment 😊
      Ok so...
      1. So the 70-85 flashing means the train is essentially in "startup mode" now I'm not sure why this refers to 40kmh but if its not flashing then the maxiumum permited speed will be 85. The PZB range is 70, 85 with a maxium of 160kmh. After which on highspeed trains the LZB takes over to the 300+ kmh range.
      2. Ok if you DO NOT acknowlege the specified magets (speed change ones) the train will come to a stop. I play on PS so not sure what it is on keyboard sorry.
      3. So that blue bar is a countdown bar to the next speed change, the 99 just refers to when you come within the 9.9km then it will start counting down to give the train enough time to stop 👍
      4. The "U" represents the pzb mode the train is currently in. So you get 2 modes for pzb one is pasenger and one is freight, the U represents passengee mode.
      5. Ok you can tell by the speedometer you will see a little pin marking the max speed 👍

    • @zwergstern9830
      @zwergstern9830 7 месяцев назад +2

      I can try to answer some of your questions:
      2. You have to acknowledge it, I recommend to change PZB free to 4 and PZB acknowledge to 5.
      3. Ü means Überwachung and means that you are tracked by the LZB. When driving on PZB, there should be a B.
      6. LZB tells you the maximum Speed and automatically brakes you down when your target speed is lower than your current Speed, you need to use the AFB for that.
      7. Ü=LZB
      B=PZB
