In Korean gameshows, there are sounds "ding dong deng" means correct, and "Ddaeng" means wrong, fail this beat is inspired by Chinese Traditional Music, they use ALOT (well mostly) traditional instruments in here too: pear-shaped four-stringed fretted lute, Dizi Flute.... THIS IS GENIUS AND NEW AF cuz i haven't heard any rappers (even in Asia) using these kind of folk beats before well I got shook
I thought it was a pun like ‘ddaeng’ conveniently sounding like ‘dang’. I think ‘wrong’ sounds weird in the context of the song bc of lines like ‘bangtan = ddaeng’ but maybe that’s just me.
They basically roasted kpop industry that underestimated and ignored them pre bbma as it always groups from big companies that got noticed from korean media and get big. And they roasted underground rappers that always talk shit about suga and RM who left underground before to become kpop idols. Then they also basically roasted antis/haters. They just sarcastically roasted all of them. BTS rap line snapped.
RM has an IQ 148 ,,,His a genius lyricist. Ones got to take a lot of time to analyze his stuff..ppl are still figuring all the layers-One verse multiple meaning that connect well together. Him and some other members are also very smart producers and composers and so are their team. The rap line writing this out did themselves. Will be hard to top.
I like how unapologetically Asian this track is, like they have traditional korean/asain music, RM can speak perfect english but used broken grammer as a call back to how racist mock them and reflect how stupid/ ignorent those racist jerks are. This track showed no mercy to anyone if you think about it, They Dissed the Three Big Kpop companies(JYP,SM and YG) that tried to prevent them from growing, Dissed there haters, Dissed fakers who act liked they cared for them but just want their Money/ success, Racist westerners And Copy cats Who hated them but trying copy their Success Miserably. They are savage XD
Jhope can change his voice when rapping and it sounds different. He can go from an aggressive sound to a more smooth sound like "Daydream" and "baseline" for example which are songs from his mixtape.
Some info... - The part where they say "this is homework" is referenced towards certain companies and people in the entertainment industry that were analyzing BTS and trying to figure out how they became so successful because for some reason they can't believe it was their hardwork that brought them where they are and above the biggest entertainment companies in Korea, like deadass this news channel in Korea started having this whole break down and analyzing how BTS became successful so big companies could take notes. - The part where they talk about praying for the "small companies success", they're talking about the big 3 entertainment companies in Korea and the line is supposed to be ironic. BTS started in a small company but now said company, Big Hit, has surpassed all three of those mentioned before, which have actors, singers, dancers, and a bunch of other groups yet with just BTS alone they surpassed them. - The part where RM is stuttering while rapping he's basically making fun of people who at first insulted them when they were small but suddenly once they're big they want to apologize and be all nice to them. They're calling out all the fakes in the companies and entertainment industry. He's making fun of how they apologize stuttering and shit. On how the moment they approach them they suddenly want to apologize in private. He could also be making fun of idol rapper's poor pronunciation. - "Rappers who don't have haters shut up" RM is basically calling out people in the underground scene who rap about how they have haters and shit but no one is even paying attention to them let alone hating, there's also this part where they call their haters jobless LMAO. - The part where RM says "wash your face" he’s basically saying wash the crust out of your eyes before hating on us. There are many more references and wordplay going on even Korean armys had to do in depth research, if you read the analysis of the lyrics they go so hard it's crazy but IN CONCLUSION: this entire song is basically them saying "do whatever you want. Also: I just went back to Twitter and tried to figure out the lyrics cause the english trans wasn’t enough. I’ve been analyzing the song for 2 hours straight and I’m still confused. Basically the whole fandom is sure about one thing: the lyrics are complex and they’re not like what they seem like when you first read. Every sentence can be interpreted in many ways. Our korean fandom is struggling so hard to translate it to us cause there are some things even they don’t understand 💀 we love the mindfuck bts gives us

Basically they were talking about how some people hated on them and now they’re trying to beg for forgiveness because BTS is famous. Also how people are trying to ‘study’ BTS’s methods which is why Hoseok says a line about homework. Namjoon stutters because of what I said before, haters begging for forgiveness while stuttering and stuff. He’s rapping so calmly to show that the haters don’t deserve him putting in the effort of raising his voice. When they talk about small companies rising to fame, they’re talking about the big 3 which is ironic because BigHit single handily got more popularity and wealth and all big 3 companies and BigHit was mocked at first, but now they’re the top company because of 1 group. Basically, BTS rap line snapped at big 3 and everyone possible.
"ddang" is the actually the sound of xylophone when your answer is wrong at the quizz or something like that. Or it sometimes means "end" or "over" like the school bells.
when he said “all i know is suga in it SO IM WATCHING IT” YAAASSSSSS. i love how y’all lowkey got a bias. but appreciate em all 😭 anyways SQUUUAAAAADDD 😂💯 y’all are so sweet reading all the comments, Armys looove to inform new ppl about BTS whole life story so the fact that y’all read it shows a lot, i can GUARANTEE army is going to swarm your channel with love. it still amazes me that y’all only listen to drill AND ACTUALLY FW BTS 😭 like whaaat. but anyways 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Rob Dinero whaaaat, i stg. i didn’t think i’d ever listen to this music until i really listened. Suga said in one video “if you listen to our music without being prejudice, you’ll like us”. that’s one of the truest statements eveeer.
Ddaeng mean 1. 'Beep!' sound in Korean when your wrong. 2. School bell sound in Korean. 3. Game word used in Korean game called 'Seot-da'. 1-8, 1-3, 3-8 are also used in Seot-da.
this song was produced by suga. and some people are saying its for the companies trying to find the formula to make a successful kpop idol group like them.
Yeahhh... its been said that there is big company(rumored big3) create a task force to analyze BTS formula of success. I found it such ironic when they actually got all the resources but their artists never even got that such great success like BTS. Their pride as big companies got hurt. Lol
I was waiting for this! Thank you for reacting! Ddaeng means different things in each verse. It can mean 'wrong', a good fortune, or sound of a bell. The numbers are linked to the Korean card game, BTS are basically saying they have the best cards. The numbers are also linked to a bible verse where Jesus foresees his betrayal. Also the 'frogs in a well' part is basically about having a small worldview (narrowminded), BTS are basically telling Korean industry to continue staying local and not evolving (sarcastic). Plus Namjoon (RM) stutters in his verse, indicating how others who dissed him publicly now stutter an apology. (an issue behind other kpop idol who dissed RM way back then. RM forgives but never forget). J-hope raps about 'Homework' he's dissing the people who observe them and try to copy their formula of success. (There's literally a research team!) "small company friend, i hope you get big soon" Suga said this for 2 reasons * bcoz some of their small company friends turned their backs to them coz they are not 'small and miserable' anymore or * lowkey cursing big companies bcoz the big 3 are corrupt and abusing their power. Buuuut the next line says "we'll fail as you wish" so it basically means they have found out that their friends aren't "real" friends after all. I think thats all. 😊💜🤘
ddaeng is an onomatopoeia for a bell ringing (the school bell, cash register, etc) but it also means wrong. the numbers are from a korean game and they are the highest score you can get. in rm's verse when he talks about 7ggut that's one of the lowest scores, thus insinuating the haters r way inferior than bts (faxxx amirite) i'm on my laptop rn so i don't got no purple heart but
It was a diss track, and they were goin' in on haters who keep saying 💩 about them. They just checked them, and let them know who is REALLY wearing those "Boss" tags, working and getting accolades (and the material things that go with that!); while the haters are...*where?* Ddaeng!!
Ok my family DEADASS thought they were black before I told them they were Asian they didn't believe me so I literally had to show them pictures of them LMFAO yo BTS TO LIT BRUH!!
this song is basically about how ppl ignored and shitted on them (Korean industries and other rappers who think they're good) the part where namjoon (RM) stutters he was imitating rappers who rap and it sounds like stuttering and also it was a jab at people who diss them in public but stutter out an apology or say 'I like your music' in private to them
The instruments are Korean traditional instruments 단소 or 소금 and 가야금. And They performed it wearing Korean traditional clothes called 한복(Hanbok) and used many Korean items like 부채(fan), 격자문양(pattern of lattice on the stage background), and 갓(suga's hat)😍 Thank you for reading it.😍
This is Cypher 5... For the up coming Anniversary ....they are dissing the haters the big 3 music companys.... Ddaeng means what you think it means just in Korean
“DDaeng” is another track from their Diss Album, which i absolutely love b/c in truth BTS honestly doesn’t brag about themselves very much when they do its to shut up all the jealous haters, lip sync rumors, and the negativity against them....you best believe they go all out.
It is a frog in a well of a Korean proverb, meaning to confine it in prejudice and to look at a bigger world It means the last lyrics of RM 이게 맞나 맞을까 잘전달이 됐나..ㅋㅋㅋ
Basically saying... you ignored us all this time and now you want to give thanks and be like us and rm stuttering trying to immitate rappers now and days i was laughing ...... i was like they really did that omg i love them roasting in a good way as always (:
if you guys can you should react to Born Singer as in J-Coles Born Sinner they just made it their own with they're own lyrics and they did a great job they put they're whole heart into it you can tell ....it's one of my favorites .....link is down below ruclips.net/video/8cUQ3lF3_O8/видео.html
if you guys can react to Bts- Born Singer as in J-Coles ....Born Sinner they just made it their own put their own lyrics and it's really good one of my favorites they put they're heart into it telling their stories link is down below (: ruclips.net/video/8cUQ3lF3_O8/видео.html
Ddaeng has several meanings: it's the sound of a bell, but specifically the sound of the bell/buzzer when someone gets an answer wrong like on a game show. It has the meaning of 'you're wrong' or 'you lose'. However, it's also the sound for 'freeze/unfreeze' in freeze tag. And it means something like combination, which refers to the numbers they keep using. These combinations are winning hands in a Korean card game: 3 combinations, 3 rappers. And this is only one word of double entendres that is in this song. Also, RM is being very subtle about dissing critics that didn't like them before they 'made it' and are now coming to them with stuttering apologies. I think this is the perfect 'less is more' verse, may be my favourite he's ever done. The part about the frog/well is from a fable about a frog who thought the well he lived in was the whole world. It represents being closed-minded from lack of world knowledge or experience. BTS, ding-dong is the bell noise for being right. They use that, too.
You probably got your answer by now but 'ddaeng' is the sound a bell makes when it's wrong. They were roasting their haters since they were saying they wouldn't succeed or they wouldn't be big and rich. The big 3 companies were trying to figure out "how to make a group as popular as BTS" So RM, Suga, and Jhope are telling them "you're wrong and you can try to hate but we won't care while we're still hella rich." It was partially also because some k-pop idols began to apologize for criticizing them. It's very hard for us to really understand (including our k-armys 😂) but that's the best way I can explain it.
ddaeng is genius they used especially with all the wordplay ddaeng could be -wrong -wow -the sound of a school bell -eliminated and so on they also played with rhymes -bang -everythang
We know who they were dissing! :-) Ddaeng means incorrect or wrong. Which means all the accusations to them were wrong! After BBMA, 12 awards in Korea-grand slam for 2 straight weeks, they dropped this!!!! Suga is the main producer of this song.
Basically this is them dragging the industry, media and big companies since they always said that they will fail this is just them saying thanks for ignoring and belittling us cause that's why we worked harder and succeeded. Ddaeng can be wrong or the sound of a bell can also be revering to a game called hwatu Ddaeng in which the highest scored are 18, 13 and 38 so basically meaning that the have the upper hand they have the power cards and are unbeatable. The homework part is them making fun of the industry since they are getting studied because they just can't believe that such a small company is rising above the big three, got so successful just by hard work. Namjoon mocked the rappers/haters who insulted them and are now apologizing and kissing their ass while stuttering and saying that they like them just because they made it big Rappers with no haters is namjoon dragging those rappers who are always rapping about their haters even though they have none telling them to look in the mirror since they're their biggest hater. Frog in a well is a phrase used to refer to people that are to afraid to venture out because they are afraid of the world beyond so the other companies not taking risks and doing things differently. Die in a well can mean rotting away in your own misery, rotting away without achieving anything.
it was really sad honestly, us ( ARMY ) would see how bad companies and the industry would treat them sometimes but honestly it wasn't even half of the things they've been through now fortunately they can count on us and on themselves to keep soaring unbothered, with our love and support on its fullest
Everything in this song was a diss, even the beat! Shit is hot! They were called out for being too western with their beats and music so they made this track more of an Asian beat to let the haters know... don't matter what beat they make... it will still be hot 🔥❤️😂 The whole track is 🔥 full of diss! I fucken loved it! I love RM's stuttering and his adlibs 😫🙌🏼
DDAENG was used in so many ways in this song like a wordplay. It could mean: -wrong/incorrect -the sound of the bell -perfect/good bet (the highest number combinations in the korean traditional gambling card game) -sudden realization -ddaeng was also used to rhyme like everyTHANG etc
this song makes me feel proud to be asian, in a world where a lot of POC beats are appropriated and stereotyped, its nice to hear some authentic, non-appropriated culture being celebrated
*IN DEPTH ANALYSIS* *Credit to sweet dream who made this comment on trackpop i just want to share this* - the part where they say "this is homework" is referenced towards certain companies and people in the entertainment industry that were analyzing bts and trying to figure out how they became so successful cause for some reason they cant believe it was their hardwork that brought them here and above the biggest 3 entertainment companies. like deadass this news channel in korea started having this whole break down and analyzing how bts became successful so big companies could take notes LMAOOO - the part where they talk about praying for the "small companies success" their talking about the big 3 companies (yg, jyp, sm) and the lines is suppose to be almost ironic. Bts started off in a small company but now their company, bighit has now surpassed all three of those companies(which i remind you those companies have actors, singers, dancers, and a bunch of other groups yet with just BTS alone they surpassed them.). So now the tables have turned and their saying "i pray for the small companies success" badass kings. - the part where rm is stuttering while rapping hes basically making fun of people who at first insulted them when they were small but suddenly once their big they wanna apologize and be all nice to them. they callin out all the fakes in the companies and entertainment industry. hes making fun of how they apologize stuttering and shit. on how the moment they approach them they suddenly wanna apologize in private. basically sayin "keep that same energy when i approach you." - the korean card game thing im guessing is them saying like "bingo!" their basically saying "yup got that and that and that." their career is an example of "winning the lottery" - "rappers who dont have haters shut up" rm is basically calling out people in the underground scene who rap about how they have haters and shit but no one is even paying attention to them let alone hating. - there is also a part where bts calls their haters "jobless" LMFAOOOOO KINGS - the part where rm says "wash your face" hes basically saying wash the crust out ya eyes before hatin on us. LMAOOOO KINGS - the part where rm calls them frogs and tells them they hopes he dies in their wells. hes basically saying that their frogs but not thinking outside the box they refuse to move outside of their tiny mediocre comfort zone aka their wells and hes basically saying i hope you die in that well of boring music and your bland comfort zone. (hes saying this to idols and companies) IN CONCLUSION: this entire song is basically them saying "do whatever you want. we stay unbothered and rich" and them being annoyed by all the bullshit that people keep spewing..
Ddaeng literally means wrong in korean. The lyrics used ddaeng in various way they are like korean traditional unofficial phrase.. I used some of them when i was a kid
Idk who they were dissing but they went crazy!! I know yall agree
the korean music industry, some idols and every anti. i'm not that sure but i think RM dissed Bobby from Ikon(in 2014 Bobby dissed RM and his rap)
Rob Dinero you need to get a more accurate translation to understand 😂😂
CHΔΠE YEQ here we go ..sweetie Twitter stans were having a laugh but this song is not directed to b*bby it's directed to people who only BTS know
The entire kpop industry 💀
So did u read the lyrics CAREFULLY and see the bars🔥🔥🔥. I wanna know ur favorite 🔥bar
"I personally don't call out anyone, but if anyone feels attacked it's their problem" - Suga
Bruh, you the real savage here 😔👌, word! 💜
RM was COLD here! Haters not even worth raising his voice for, he don't need to shout, got nothin to prove, loved this!
I Loved It Too💙 Its Different
He being rapping sarcastically along the way with smooth rap. Lowkey lit.
That stutter arrgh... Sarcasm to the finest. 😍
RM was dissing calmly...his wordplay is on genius level🔥Check out RMs 2015 mixtape!
Cristina May Poblador RM's first mixtape is a masterpiece!!!!!! 🙌🏼

In 응(eung), 가야금 was used and they are also Koreans and Korean americans.
Jay Chou uses it. Lol 😂
Bohan Phoenix incorporates a lot of Chinese folk instrumentation. Check him out!
StrawberryCola I think they're referring about how the haters saw bangtan, anything they did, or what army did all are wrong 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

RM's real name is Namjoon if you didn't know
This song is what made Namjoon my ultimate bias wrecker. He came for Taes spot and I ain't okay

DDAENG is a sound Koreans make when you answer a question WRONG. Which is confusing because it sounds like a "that is correct" sound.
Wrong
1-8, 1-3, 3-8 are the best card combos in the Korean card game called 'Hwatu'.
lingo Kim..wow good to know👍🖐😊😁

Nam_ Han As many Kpop groups I've heard, BTS has THE best rap line ever!
18 13 38 is a Korean game. It is the best combo in the game = the 3 rappers in BTS are the best combo
Don’t even argue with me on this but everyone just became an absolute h*e for the sassiest rap line, 땡 got my wig bad 😆 JHope really said: “i calmly think about why y’all are all fussing, but you got a lot time, this is homework” 😂😂😂 he called haters jobless 😆👏🏻 my powerful man 🤙🏻

"ddang" is the actually the sound of xylophone when your answer is wrong at the quizz or something like that. Or it sometimes means "end" or "over" like the school bells.
when he said “all i know is suga in it SO IM WATCHING IT” YAAASSSSSS.
i love how y’all lowkey got a bias. but appreciate em all 😭
anyways SQUUUAAAAADDD 😂💯
y’all are so sweet reading all the comments, Armys looove to inform new ppl about BTS whole life story so the fact that y’all read it shows a lot, i can GUARANTEE army is going to swarm your channel with love. it still amazes me that y’all only listen to drill AND ACTUALLY FW BTS 😭 like whaaat. but anyways 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
Thank You💙‼️ We Try To Show How Much We Appreciate The Love💜💜
💜💜 u be feeling me g 💯 the world to big to he closed off to one set of music and ect
Rob Dinero whaaaat, i stg. i didn’t think i’d ever listen to this music until i really listened. Suga said in one video “if you listen to our music without being prejudice, you’ll like us”. that’s one of the truest statements eveeer.
Ddaeng mean
1. 'Beep!' sound in Korean when your wrong.
2. School bell sound in Korean.
3. Game word used in Korean game called 'Seot-da'. 1-8, 1-3, 3-8 are also used in Seot-da.
BTS rap line are three of the best rappers and lyricists in the world! BTS is the best! there's nothing like BTS!
this song was produced by suga. and some people are saying its for the companies trying to find the formula to make a successful kpop idol group like them.
ohsatan it’s produced by suga, J.pearls, RM and J-Hope
ohsatan Produced by all 3 plus other people.
Lily O i didn't know that. i just saw on twitter that it was produced by suga so yeah.
ohsatan No you’re good, Suga’s name Is listed first, so I think everyone just assumed he produced it by himself. They all did an amazing job on it!
Yeahhh... its been said that there is big company(rumored big3) create a task force to analyze BTS formula of success. I found it such ironic when they actually got all the resources but their artists never even got that such great success like BTS. Their pride as big companies got hurt. Lol
i love the rm part when raps with a stammer. its awesome
Blank Tae sameee
RM can really kill me with those whisper
ddaeng in this song has three meanings:
wrong
sound of a bell
and English dang
(There's literally a research team!)
"small company friend, i hope you get big soon" Suga said this for 2 reasons
* bcoz some of their small company friends turned their backs to them coz they are not 'small and miserable' anymore or
* lowkey cursing big companies bcoz the big 3 are corrupt and abusing their power.
Buuuut the next line says "we'll fail as you wish" so it basically means they have found out that their friends aren't "real" friends after all.
I think thats all. 😊💜🤘
Thank You For The Information💙‼️
God bless you 🙌💙
💓 the way you broke it down. (Ddaeng!) 🤗
Infires man your mind holy shh 👏
Dang man! U told us something we never thought about...well what can we say when we have proven geniuses in bts..of course they'll slay..
Call it whatever you want but I'm going to call it Cypher #5 Daeng. Lol
ddaeng is an onomatopoeia for a bell ringing (the school bell, cash register, etc) but it also means wrong.
the numbers are from a korean game and they are the highest score you can get. in rm's verse when he talks about 7ggut that's one of the lowest scores, thus insinuating the haters r way inferior than bts (faxxx amirite)
i'm on my laptop rn so i don't got no purple heart but
olivia you must be a literature major
It was a diss track, and they were goin' in on haters who keep saying 💩 about them. They just checked them, and let them know who is REALLY wearing those "Boss" tags, working and getting accolades (and the material things that go with that!); while the haters are...*where?* Ddaeng!!
Ok my family DEADASS thought they were black before I told them they were Asian they didn't believe me so I literally had to show them pictures of them LMFAO yo BTS TO LIT BRUH!!
I love the fact they added a chinese traditional instrument
LMAO „you lying if you say it isn’t good“ damn tell them love you guys
Ddang is equivalent to our Ding. The sound of a bell. Like at the end of a diss "ding" or a "boom" or a "mic drop" lol
this song is basically about how ppl ignored and shitted on them (Korean industries and other rappers who think they're good) the part where namjoon (RM) stutters he was imitating rappers who rap and it sounds like stuttering and also it was a jab at people who diss them in public but stutter out an apology or say 'I like your music' in private to them
Rm's voice gives me goosebumps bar
The instruments are Korean traditional instruments 단소 or 소금 and 가야금. And They performed it wearing Korean traditional clothes called 한복(Hanbok) and used many Korean items like 부채(fan), 격자문양(pattern of lattice on the stage background), and 갓(suga's hat)😍
Thank you for reading it.😍
Who said I thought they went Korean lmao ??
When they was hyping Suga and RM and leaving my boy hobi out 😭
HOBI DESERVES LOVE
rm was making fun of rappers who stutter by stuttering cuz they always fumbling with words 🔥🔥🔥🔥😂😁 classic RAPMONSTER
This is Cypher 5... For the up coming Anniversary ....they are dissing the haters the big 3 music companys.... Ddaeng means what you think it means just in Korean
JHope’s Verse is fire 🔥 rapline did it again! It’s a masterpiece
“DDaeng” is another track from their Diss Album, which i absolutely love b/c in truth BTS honestly doesn’t brag about themselves very much when they do its to shut up all the jealous haters, lip sync rumors, and the negativity against them....you best believe they go all out.
Main producer are Suga n JPearl...compose by RM,Suga,Jhope with Supreme Boi n J Pearl...Rap line made BTS shine better than the rest...
React to "hangsang" and "baseline" by j-hope it's a lit type of song for sure
Lil uzi cart baseline for sure
It is a frog in a well of a Korean proverb, meaning to confine it in prejudice and to look at a bigger world It means the last lyrics of RM
이게 맞나 맞을까 잘전달이 됐나..ㅋㅋㅋ
Basically saying... you ignored us all this time and now you want to give thanks and be like us and rm stuttering trying to immitate rappers now and days i was laughing ...... i was like they really did that omg i love them roasting in a good way as always (:
BTSINFIRESME ! Yes I loved that
I Love It Too🤟🏾💯

DDAENG could mean
- wrong / incorrect
- the sound of the bell
- it also sounds like THANK in english
Yall can feels those flows and bars are on another levels
I Agree💯
Lmao his face on J-hope's "uh" parts 😂💀 i enjoyed this
Thank You💙
Youre welcome :))
Thank you for reacting so fast. Love this song so much, I know I'll probably listen to it a million times today.
Me Too💙💯
You two should react to "who is BTS: the seven member of bts" like that you could know the members more 😊
Yes please!
Yeah
i like all three of them because they have their own style of rapping.
btw the numbers 18-13-38 are combinations and have the highest number in a korean card game so with these card numbers, it's a win.
Yesssss . .. Suga AgustD is my favorite too!!!!! .,..pure raw emotion when he raps ..
Today's big news is Korean Media said RM will be a great
politician.
I am @KanyeWest
i really like you guys' eyebrows, and also welcome to the fandom
Thank You💜‼️
Thank you much 💜
땡 is a MASTERPIECE and definitely a BOP, indeed! JHOPE VERSE. HIS VOICE. HIS FLOW. HIS BARS. HIS RAP. HIS MOANS. IM ON THE FLOOR 🔥🔥🔥🔥JHOPE DID THAT 🤙🏻
ddaeng is genius they used especially with all the wordplay
ddaeng could be
-wrong
-wow
-the sound of a school bell
-eliminated
and so on
they also played with rhymes
-bang
-everythang
Yeah shout out to the D Town!!!!
Namjoon mocked the rappers/haters who insulted them and are now apologizing and kissing their ass while stuttering and saying that they like them just because they made it big
Rappers with no haters is namjoon dragging those rappers who are always rapping about their haters even though they have none telling them to look in the mirror since they're their biggest hater.
Frog in a well is a phrase used to refer to people that are to afraid to venture out because they are afraid of the world beyond so the other companies not taking risks and doing things differently.
Die in a well can mean rotting away in your own misery, rotting away without achieving anything.
💜💜

No its co produce by suga, rm, jhope, j pearl and 1 more producer.. I forgot
efy lois RM and jhope only make their rap part. But the beat and melody produced by suga and jpearl. But recording engineer are suga, RM and jhope.
it was really sad honestly, us ( ARMY ) would see how bad companies and the industry would treat them sometimes but honestly it wasn't even half of the things they've been through
now fortunately they can count on us and on themselves to keep soaring unbothered, with our love and support on its fullest
I’m a huge fan of BTS ngl so I had to subscribe 💗. And I like how y’all not judging them even tho they speak Korean
Thank You💙‼️
RAP line always slay!
FINALLY A SONG TO SHOW DOES HATES-WANNA-BE TO GET THEIR A** OUTTA HERE
DDAENG was used in so many ways in this song like a wordplay. It could mean:
-wrong/incorrect
-the sound of the bell
-perfect/good bet (the highest number combinations in the korean traditional gambling card game)
-sudden realization
-ddaeng was also used to rhyme like everyTHANG etc
Backgroud music is just killing man......💜❤💜
💜💜
💜💜💜 BTS army lives on twitter
💜💜
I love that more people are starting to reach out to Korean culture and other cultures in general. keep it up!!
this song makes me feel proud to be asian, in a world where a lot of POC beats are appropriated and stereotyped, its nice to hear some authentic, non-appropriated culture being celebrated
*IN DEPTH ANALYSIS*
*Credit to sweet dream who made this comment on trackpop i just want to share this*
- the part where they say "this is homework" is referenced towards certain companies and people in the entertainment industry that were analyzing bts and trying to figure out how they became so successful cause for some reason they cant believe it was their hardwork that brought them here and above the biggest 3 entertainment companies. like deadass this news channel in korea started having this whole break down and analyzing how bts became successful so big companies could take notes LMAOOO
- the part where they talk about praying for the "small companies success" their talking about the big 3 companies (yg, jyp, sm) and the lines is suppose to be almost ironic.
- the part where rm is stuttering while rapping hes basically making fun of people who at first insulted them when they were small but suddenly once their big they wanna apologize and be all nice to them. they callin out all the fakes in the companies and entertainment industry. hes making fun of how they apologize stuttering and shit. on how the moment they approach them they suddenly wanna apologize in private. basically sayin "keep that same energy when i approach you."
- the korean card game thing im guessing is them saying like "bingo!" their basically saying "yup got that and that and that." their career is an example of "winning the lottery"
- "rappers who dont have haters shut up" rm is basically calling out people in the underground scene who rap about how they have haters and shit but no one is even paying attention to them let alone hating.
- there is also a part where bts calls their haters "jobless" LMFAOOOOO KINGS
- the part where rm says "wash your face" hes basically saying wash the crust out ya eyes before hatin on us. LMAOOOO KINGS
- the part where rm calls them frogs and tells them they hopes he dies in their wells. hes basically saying that their frogs but not thinking outside the box they refuse to move outside of their tiny mediocre comfort zone aka their wells and hes basically saying i hope you die in that well of boring music and your bland comfort zone. (hes saying this to idols and companies)
IN CONCLUSION: this entire song is basically them saying "do whatever you want. we stay unbothered and rich" and them being annoyed by all the bullshit that people keep spewing..
Suga is your bias, but love them all
Venna Lace I do love em all
SUGAS FLOW IN THIS LEFT ME WIGLESS
Darn this song is just fabulous 💜💜💜
I Agree💜💜
kings of rap.
BREATH IF YOU AGREE
This whole video is a mood
Ddaeng literally means wrong in korean. The lyrics used ddaeng in various way they are like korean traditional unofficial phrase.. I used some of them when i was a kid
ddaeng can be a sound that describes a bell ringing or when someone or something is wrong
Suga is on 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥💋💋
