7/11 is equal to a corner shop in the UK, if you require more substance products you go to like Big C, and most local moma and poppa shops sell beer all day.
Nice! You can get pretty much everything you need at 7-Eleven and the street food is always affordable and tasty. I find that there is no need to stock up on groceries anywhere in Southeast Asia since you can eat outside at cheaper prices anyway. Have an awesome trip!
Are those watermelon seeds roasted ? I have enjoyed watermelons all my adult life, never considered eating those awful seeds. Please tell us what do they do to make them edible.
That's true haha. The staff there didn't seem to mind. Some customers were wondering what I was doing but they were really just more curious than annoyed 😅

It's tough to find beer and booze during those hours, but I never thought to try the smaller market shops. Thanks for the tip! 😎
What is the coffee place you went at the start called ?
Cafe de Sot... just north of Old City. Here's the map link... maps.app.goo.gl/TgS8bHjhx5xVS7gK9
I´m coming to Bangkok in 3 weeks and my hotel is by two 7-eleven shops. So I don´t have to go with BTS to buy groceries. Prices are good

Ice cream, beer, and coffee could be a trilogy of needs for me as well haha!
