Absolutely brilliant! I've always heard this piece played on a pipe organ at a church, and always thought it was the most incredible piece of music I'd ever heard, it's unbelievable. I can play a little bit of the toccata part on my piano but then it gets far too difficult for me. Never heard it played on electric guitar, and man it's awesome! Bach was a couple hundred years ahead of his time for sure. This is an amazing video performance, really superb!
I dig that left hand capo for tapping on a non-open string pedal tone around the 1:00 mark! Right now I’m working on Ich Ruf’ Zu dir, Herr Jesu Christ, the f minor choral prelude that is the theme throughout Tarkovsky’s Солярис. It’s a piece I keep coming back to over the years.
