    I LOVE all of your videos! Esp these flip throughs. I started my own the first part of July and realized very quickly - I have no life. Lol Work, housework, work, sleep. Plus it took me 3 days to complete one day. I LOVE seeing how yours turns out though-I'll live vicariously through RUclips! ;)

    Your video is fun and very inspiring! I paint in my art journals but don't write/journal at all. After watching your video, I might make a monthly journal just to write about my days. You make it seem so easy and the drawings are amazing! Thanks so much for sharing your work! Hugs Lisa

    Loved looking at your wonderful drawings as usual. Don't take it as something bad that your daughter was angry at you and your husband for taking a vacation without her. She's just secure in her knowledge that it is OK for her to show her anger and that she didn't like to be without you. Look at it this way: It would have been much worse if she didn't miss you! You come across as a very loving mother who wants to spend time with your daughter and listen to her wishes. Teaching her to tackle frustrations is a good thing because she'll grow from it and be stronger in the end. The goal for me and my husband is to give our child the tools to be self-reliant and a capable person who are able to forge a fulfilling life for himself with laughter, joy and companionship to make him happy.

      Hello,
      Thank you so much for this great way of looking at the situation. You really turned it into a positive and learning experience. I'm so new to it all that I'm afraid and scared and I just want hugs and smiles all the time and I know that just isn't possible!! Thank you for your sweet and inspiring words!! Thank you so much for watching and supporting what I do! xo

    Your drawings are great! Your so talented. I tried doing this in my journal buy it takes so much time to sketch everything then color them in. So I went back to writing and stick figures. Great video thanks for sharing your life with us.

    P.S. what kind of stamp did you use on the bottom of the page? It looks like Ukrainian embroidery especially in red ink!

    Hi Vicky, Love your videos, Love your drawings. Can you please share how you learned to draw ? Did you take classes or is it self taught ? I'd like to be able to draw my husband, etc.. Not professionally, but like you do & I'd like to know how you learned this ?.

      Hello!!
      It's honestly just by drawing and doodling every day. It's no secret I have bad days still and all you have to do is to keep doing it. Just take a pen and notebook and draw what's in front of you. I promise you that after 6 weeks of you doing just one drawing a day you will see a great improvement!! Check some books at the library. I do that all the time for inspiration!

    Vicky, where are you getting your moon and weather updates from?

    How do you find the hobonichi paper? I've heard it's very thin and you can see what you've wrote through the otherside of the page? Do you get any bleed through with ink or gel pens.I'm still undecided about this hobonichi.I wish it was a little bit bigger.
    I've just ordered my 2015 large daily moleskine.but like you I usually end up with more than one diary.haha (at least 4)

      I am still playing around with the hobonichi and I will have to let you know what I think of it. The paper is like the paper you would find in a bible almost. It seems to hold up really really well to most things but I will have a full review once I've used it more so keep an eye out for that!

    I LOVE THIS VIDEO and the idea, can't sleep and I am so glad I stumbled on this. Your drawings are gorgeous! I live in Florida, so I feel for any humidity pain. I have a question-do you have any kind of template for the top of your book? I am going out to Barnes and Noble tomorrow. My husband is going to hate me-between my address book, smash books and now this-but I love the idea! Will you please let me know about the templates for the top if you don't mind?

    • @MissVickybee
      @MissVickybee  10 лет назад

      Lesa P I'm so glad I can keep you company while you can't sleep lol!! I am not completely sure I understand your question. The cover that I have for this book is from the japanese website that sells hobonichi planners. I have videos all about this. Could you rephrase your question?

    Hi again! I guess I am not very coherent in the early morning hours! I just wanted to know how you set up the top of your fauxbonichi. The part where you have the temperature, the date, and the moon phases ie; how many lines do you use at the top. Does that make any sense at all? My husbands birthday, Fathers Day and our Anniversary are all at the same time! You know what comes last-the anniversary. I love your videos and your drawings. Best, Lesa

    Since you already prepped your Fauxbonichi for July, what will you do with those pages? Will you re-create those pages in the Fauxbonichi once the #onebookjuly2014 is over?

    • @MissVickybee
      @MissVickybee  10 лет назад

      I think I might take pictures and then paste them in so that the pages are not blank!
