Repair of 900 Mhz Bandpass filter

A Wacom WP-494 adjustable coupling band pass filter that came to me for repairs. I have shown in this video, several hours of time compressed snips highlighting the process used to identify the problems, disassembly and repair techniques, intermediate checkout, reassembly and re-alignment after the repairs.

My apologies for the glitches in this video. I was using different software to edit and compress the photos and vid clips, and it either hung, went wonky, or glitched during multiple rendering attempts. This is the best of several attempts. It's not a high quality vid, but intended to be informative and educational and I think it meets that goal. 73 N3SDO

Did you do a return loss measurement? You'd be surprised by using it to adjust coupling loops and minimum line loss and max q using a VNA.
