bts is such a versatile group. their whole discography is so good. they experiment with different genres that is why i dont understand when someone says bts music always sound the same. like bitch are you deaf? they obviously just listened to title tracks and base their judgment off of that. their side tracks are pure gold if not better. that is why armys have a hard time picking out their favorite bts song because i have yet to find a song that i truly dont like from them. that is how good they are for me imo.
Underrated yet, such a masterpiece. House of cards, dead leaves etc. I think it'll be great if u guys wanted to suggest him a vid, send him the link. N yes, I agree wth u. Bts is such a great artist. They r just in another whole level. Something beyond mainstream kpop.
That's the beauty of BTS, they don't lock themselves into a particular genre. They're labeled K-Pop because they're a boy band, but they play with all types of genres. They include a lot of rap in their ballads, they mix R&B with pop, trap, EDM, rock, etc. I hope you keep reacting to them. Any of their song is a good choice in my opinion! Let Me Know (watch the live version) is a great combination the rap line a vocal line.
Yup that's our vocal line of BTS! As for the backup vocals...they ARE the backup vocals of each other lol. Glad you like the song. PS: It always gives me the "50 shades of grey" feel lol
The term "K-pop" does not stand for pop music only. There are also a lot of r'n'b, soul, hip hop, reggae, rock, edm elements in K-pop. So yes, K-r'n'b is right. :)
I love how people label K-pop as if it's only pop but the variety of genres you get under K-pop is long.. this is definitely R&B like you said so don't feel bad for identifying the music as non K-pop but instead u understand that K-pop is a very surprising mix of music and enjoy the ride
BTS songs are of multiple genre. some can't be labelled under just one particular genre and some are just something that's totally authentic identifiable to BTS only.
If you like Jimin's voice you should DEFINITELY check out his solo song "Lie" - it's a masterpiece. BTW, this lyrics video was pretty good :) Also, fans (ARMYs) jokingly call House of Cards song either "BTS's 50 Shades of Gray" or just "50 Shades of BTS" xD This song has live version on RUclips. I can link it to you if you want :) BTS was never just pop LOL They even debuted as hip-hop group xD They do all genres ;)
I keep coming back to this reaction. It’s just so good! When I accidentally removed this on my playlist I almost cried because I thought it would be impossible for me to find it again. Lol.
It's very rare when I watch someone's video and sub immediately but I really liked ur reaction to this song. it's one of my TOP favorite songs of BTS and you were right abt R&B in USA going down to the bottom
really enjoying your chanel and your. reactions looking forward to seeing more reactions... plus v stigma is a great track either way bts has alot of R&B feel songs
god the 90's r&b... miss it.. when u said it, i then realise hell yeah it has that r&b groove.... and it BTS. any genre they doin, i'm still with them no matter.
If you're interested in R&B you could try listening to Dean, he's a Korean R&B artist. I'd suggest Bonnie and Clyde or Pour Up. He also has a song in full English too called I'm Not Sorry if you'd prefer that
I am legit so surprised you did this and I'm glad you really enjoyed it. awesome. daebak. I would so love to hear what you think about fallen leaves/dead leaves or outro: love is not over full ver. thanks and keep doing you! omg. yes. the live versions are freaking INSANE!
This is by far one of my top favorite songs! Most of the background vocals in their songs are done by Jimin (My bias, he's an angel) and Jungkook, (he's amazing! You should check out his covers!) you should react to to Dead Leaves, Love Is Not Over, Hold Me Tight, Let me Know, Butterfly, Tomorrow and Rain ( this is such an underrated song but it's amazing) and if you can, it's better to watch the LIVE versions! They are so much better live! And also, kpop I think shouldn't be labeled as a specific genre bc there's so many artists that don't even do pop music, it varies and it sucks how they just put a label on it just cause it's in Korean! We were so proud when WINGS (BTS album) charted in iTunes Hiphop/Rap charts, and not in just KPOP.... Were so proud cause they are finally getting the recognition they deserve! They are amazing artists!
I loved ur reaction! The Bg vocal during the time u asked was jimin.. But the other times it was mainly jimin n jungkook.. Can you react to stigma by v and lie by jimin? It's their solo songs .. as well the solo from other members of bts
omg you'd love their song "fallen leaves" i bet they have plenty English subs videos cause its soooo good. :) thank you and i look forward to seeing if you react to it. i'll go sub now..i'd be sorta waiting but you won me over now. :P
LOOOL THAT'S KBTS DUDE!!, bts has so many influences that it traduces to their music work and vocals, this song is really honey to the ears, you're right that's Kr&b, you should react to ''V - Stigma''
loved your reaction! 😄👍 bts vocal line is amazing! You should check out Seventeen Boom Boom they are a 13 member group if you want to see how they distribute lines or something haha.
It's funny you mention hearing it live, because there's a really good live version from a concert they did last year!! It's so beautiful, and some might even say they like it better than the recorded version haha. To make sure you find the right one, just put in BTS House of Cards Epilogue, and it'll be the first result. (Epilogue is the name of the concert) I'm sure others have already said this haha but I wanted to be more specific, because it's a really good listen. If you don't want to do a reaction video on the same song, you should still listen to it! It's really good :)
If you like the R&B feel they have going on (which i miss as well) you should check out Stigma by BTS. It is a solo that was written and sung by V, one of their vocal members. Some other BTS songs you may like are butterfly, let me know, and love is not over. They are songs with a strong R&B influence as well. I agree with you that it could be classified as more K-R&B. The one thing about BTS is that they do write most of their songs or at least have a huge part in writing them. You will notice that most of their music has a message of some sort, talks about common things ppl are going thru or it is about something personal in their lives. I love your reactions btw, Its nice to watch someone who obviously appreciates music and is intrigued by the meanings behind the lyrics and isnt JUST reacting to Kpop for the views and subs. Looking forward to more reactions!
I like your analyses! thanks, they have come to true RNB essence, I love so much this song :), they are so so talented, for me they deserve to be as iconic as ADELE, BEYONCE etc! They are nominated to BBMA top social artitsts but one day I want they won BBMA /grammy for best album or song of the year, will be hard but we can dream ^^
BTS and other Kpop artist are heavenly influenced by R&B and HipHop; BTS even came to the States in 2014 to learn more about the origins of HipHop ( watch American Hustle life ) and some members even received vocal lesson from a famous Gospel singer/vocal trainer ( the lady that the movie Sister Act was loosely based on ). When I saw how respectful BTS was to the Black culture and the music that comes from that culture - I new immediately that they were different and were going to be big and slay the world with their music. Giving respect to a group of people who some don't want to acknowledge as music geniuses ( Black people ) is why I respect BTS so much and also because their lyrics are so soul touching/meaningful and mostly without a lot of cursing! I know that Jimin🐨listens to a lot of R&B music and Ramon has had collaborations with Warren G. and Wale and was heavenly influenced by many HipHop artist past and present! Some of the artist featured in American Hustle Life were as follows: Warren G., Coolio, the Vocal trainer ( I have to look up her name ) and others I can't recall now. BTS were even shown meaningful and historical places of HipHop origins! You got to watch it!
you should watch their live performances especially their concerts. watch the BTS' HYYH and Epilogue Concerts. you'll be amazed how great they perform live!
Heii, I'm new to your channel bit I love your reactions😇 I apologize for my bad English I'm from Germany🙂 Could you please react to Dead Leaves from Bts and the a reaction for their song lost would be great too (Lost is also from their vocal line) and to all of their solo songs and to Agust D ft. Jimin at their 3rd Muster event. They sang a song called Tony Montana and the live performance is lit af. I'd love to see you're reactions.
seems like u really like R&B, i recommend to you YUNA FT USHER-CRUSH,their soft vocals really blend together, this is not KPOP and u dont have to make reaction video, this is just one of my favourite song
I'm not mad at all. r&b went to Seoul. lol There are quite a few KR&B artist you should look into. Zion T, Crush, Dean, Jessie Don't make me cry for some female r&b or some of Ailee.
Oh, don't get it twisted! There's a A LOT of KR&B/KHipHop in the KPOP category ie. why it's considered KPopular! It's what mixes well in the mainstream. BTW, Please Checkout KARD! You will enjoy their music immensely!
"What do you two do?" 😂 You're funny. I really enjoy your reactions. I am in love with this track. The background vocals was mostly Jimin.
bts is such a versatile group. their whole discography is so good. they experiment with different genres that is why i dont understand when someone says bts music always sound the same. like bitch are you deaf? they obviously just listened to title tracks and base their judgment off of that. their side tracks are pure gold if not better. that is why armys have a hard time picking out their favorite bts song because i have yet to find a song that i truly dont like from them. that is how good they are for me imo.

N yes, I agree wth u. Bts is such a great artist. They r just in another whole level. Something beyond mainstream kpop.
I think you would like V's solo song from their WINGS album. It's called Stigma. Definitely has a more bluesy/R&B feel to it.
Stigma is awesome. Would love to see your reaction to this.
He did a reaction!!!
BTS they got that hip hop, R&B, pop, and rock with some EDM and tropical beats thrown in there too. And now some ballad solo songs
I back you up with the suggestion of Let Me Know!
Yup that's our vocal line of BTS! As for the backup vocals...they ARE the backup vocals of each other lol. Glad you like the song. PS: It always gives me the "50 shades of grey" feel lol

Yes, and boy bands have always had heavy R&B influences so it's no surprise that K-Pop idol groups do too.
Mina chan Exactly! Pop estands for popular, it's just a term, not a genre.
this is literally one of my favourite songs BTS has done. sooo glad u reacted to it and enjoyed!!! THX XD
I keep coming back to this reaction. The best reaction of "House of cards" ever! Thank u!
This track is a masterpiece! 💜
u should try Let Me Know or Butterfly the vocals r crazy good on those and id watch the live versions
YEAH! Let Me Know LIVE performance please... You can find it on youtube

Also Hold me tight live...
Yes!!! "Let me know" Live!!!
Adrilogy Oh yes! I love that song its one of my favs and also "Does It Make Sense"
Man, I love how much you get into it. It's been great to watch you get more and more into BTS and KPop.
This is my fave song by the vocal line and I think it doesn't get the attention it deserves. I'm glad to see people sitting down and listening to it!
BTS songs are of multiple genre. some can't be labelled under just one particular genre and some are just something that's totally authentic identifiable to BTS only.
That sounded like Boyz II Men slow jams meets anime, somebody in the background floating some high ass notes.
justin Parrish Right
I absolutely love that you are open to all kinds of music, and you try to stay positive, you may be my new fave reactor lol
If you like Jimin's voice you should DEFINITELY check out his solo song "Lie" - it's a masterpiece.
BTW, this lyrics video was pretty good :)

They do all genres ;)
I like your opinion.
Rap line and vocal line in BTS are awesone!
K R&B sounds good! like your reactions..
I keep coming back to this reaction. It’s just so good! When I accidentally removed this on my playlist I almost cried because I thought it would be impossible for me to find it again. Lol.
YESSSSSSSSSS Should react LOST (vocal line) & BUTTERFLY by BTS please 🙏 Rapper + Vocal killin it
It's very rare when I watch someone's video and sub immediately but I really liked ur reaction to this song. it's one of my TOP favorite songs of BTS and you were right abt R&B in USA going down to the bottom
One of my favorites and they sound so good.
I liked before watching the video bc I know this will be good
really enjoying your chanel and your. reactions looking forward to seeing more reactions... plus v stigma is a great track either way bts has alot of R&B feel songs
god the 90's r&b... miss it.. when u said it, i then realise hell yeah it has that r&b groove.... and it BTS. any genre they doin, i'm still with them no matter.
i waited years for this :) i love your reactions, hope you'll react on more bts songs
If you're interested in R&B you could try listening to Dean, he's a Korean R&B artist. I'd suggest Bonnie and Clyde or Pour Up. He also has a song in full English too called I'm Not Sorry if you'd prefer that
I also love Dean!! I really like 21

It's like Kpop R&B though... gorgeous... thanks for the reaction :)
totally agreed . tks for your reaction!!
I am legit so surprised you did this and I'm glad you really enjoyed it. awesome. daebak. I would so love to hear what you think about fallen leaves/dead leaves or outro: love is not over full ver. thanks and keep doing you! omg. yes. the live versions are freaking INSANE!

k-r&b is right. not everything is straight k-pop. bts is multi-genre.
i love your reactions ... keep it up
Butterfly, let me know, hold me tight, and dead leaves.... Also I Need U acoustic version Omggg... But "Tomorrow" will be my ultimate favorite!!
I love your vocals at end, it blends great with song.

I loved ur reaction! The Bg vocal during the time u asked was jimin.. But the other times it was mainly jimin n jungkook.. Can you react to stigma by v and lie by jimin? It's their solo songs .. as well the solo from other members of bts

Now you gotta react to the live version😂😂
yeah that was nice! Very refreshing
"k-pop" is like a generalization. almost all genres fit under it because all groups bring something different.
like your reaction😍
LOOOL THAT'S KBTS DUDE!!, bts has so many influences that it traduces to their music work and vocals, this song is really honey to the ears, you're right that's Kr&b, you should react to ''V - Stigma''
Bts is amazing they don't lock themselves into the kpop image they do all sorts of genres
Kpop means Korean Popular music... so it doesnt necessarily mean pop. :D i love ur reactions!!!!!!!
loved your reaction! 😄👍 bts vocal line is amazing! You should check out Seventeen Boom Boom they are a 13 member group if you want to see how they distribute lines or something haha.
React to BTS dead leaves! You'll love it!!
It's funny you mention hearing it live, because there's a really good live version from a concert they did last year!!
