No, for RUclips videos, I prefer to use retroarch. It just looks better and easier to capture. But I do have the original retro consoles and a crt tv for gaming 🎧😃🎮
Zero Wing, Sonic 2, Thunder Force IV, Streets of Rage 2 and Earthworm Jim (although this one has better tracks) were good picks, but WTF is up with the rest? You couldn't find anything else?? That rendition of the Battletoads lvl 5 track is horrible compared to the SNES original. The original NES version of B&DD is the best version of the game!!! However, I think Genesis sound processor brings it to another level. I like Genesis soundtracks in B&DD way better than both NES & SNES. By the way, you have a great choice. 👍 spoiler: at least 3 of your soundtracks will be in my future lists 🎧🔥

@@retromaniation I hated this list. Some of the worst examples of music to be found on the system followed by the two most famous tunes at the end, Have you heard the Psycho Pinball ost? Particularly check out the Trick or Treat stage music.
@@retromaniation It's annoying because there are thousands of amazing compositions and you choose some of the most marimba heavy, 3 track awfulness from idiots like Sega of America directed studios.
@@retromaniation GEMS is very well known and has bad reputation. It was the worst sound driver. Over used by US devs who were very bad at programming back in days. Thunder Force 4 or Streets of Rage , or most Japanese games had different customized drivers. Rather than GEMS used by default 😓 There are seeveral video on that subject. Have a nice day.
Well, from what i know, it was created to simplify the process. And yes, it wasn't perfect and had some issues. But I don't see any problems with it... if the soundtrack sounds good and nostalgic, that's all that matters 😎🤘 nothing is perfect in this world lol and if you know something better, feel free to share it here in the comments
