I am so proud of you and happy that you are sharing these important age old traditions which is preserved so all diasporas get to know and appreciate. . Social media will help expand the economy in these areas. Fashion houses as far as China and Europe appreciate this. Our children’s children need to know about these traditions and appreciate and support its educational, historical as well as economic value. 👏💯.

I'm so happy to see this. About a week ago a student of mine was asking me about local fabric dying in Nigeria. She wanted to know about the dying process and its history, I was able to give her some information on Adire (tie and dye). After watching this video, I will definitely have more information for her.

The indigo dye gave birth to the famous Tie-Dye fabric pattern, which was created in Nigeria centuries ago. But today like everything else, the world attributes it to the Western nations…
I am glad we are telling our own stories because after all, the Afrikan or Black Man walked this earth first…
    I’ve subscribed… what a great historical content.
