Another great tour! Taking the bicycle really allows you to cover a lot of territory, and wow, there's so much to see. It's hard to narrow down what I liked the best, because it's all so good.🙂 As always, it seems you can't go far in Spain without seeing a stunningly beautiful church, and this tour was no exception. I lost count of how many churches I saw, but the cathedral at the end was spectacular. The Roman bridge was very impressive too. In fact, I just read the Wiki page about it. Incredible to think that it was originally built in Roman times - several thousand years ago! Boston only dates back to about 1625. That's not very old for Europe. 😉 Earlier in the tour, along the main shopping street, there's a very long building - or buildings - with all those arches. It seemed to go on forever. Really impressive. I'm glad you did the tour in the afternoon so we could get a little of that golden hue on the buildings. The part at 45:40 was perfection. The warm afternoon sun on that golden wall and the shadows of the arches. So beautiful, and so peaceful there. (enjoyed the university too) I watched this video late on Sunday night, with a hot cup of tea. It's cold outside, of course. Between the tea and that warm, golden sandstone of La Dorada, it warmed me right up. 😊

Fortunately, we continue to enjoy warmer weather than usual for these dates, I will have to take advantage of it to film more tours 😄 You are right, the old town of Salamanca is full of churches, only a few of them appear on this tour. Perhaps the one that catches my attention the most is this 26:19 It is the church of San Marcos from the 11th century. I like it because a circular church from this period is unusual. As a curiosity, the cathedral is actually two cathedrals, because first one was built in Romanesque style and then another larger one in Gothic style was built attached to it. You are also right about the Roman bridge. This is one of the oldest constructions that are preserved in Salamanca (Romans knew how to build buildings well 😄) I agree with you. 45:40 This is also my favorite part of the tour. I was lucky to arrive at that moment, I really like how the light shines on the walls, I even arrived just when the bells of the cathedral are ringing. The only thing that spoils the image is that crane in the background 😝 This small patio is Escuelas Menores (Minor Schools), they were old classrooms where less important university studies were taught. I filmed another tour of Salamanca a year ago. I filmed it in the last hour of sunset, which is the best time where you can see the effect of light on the stone. At that time it really seems that the buildings are golden. So many sandstone buildings! Sure would be great to see in the evening, the whole town would be golden! And best of all, the Plaza Mayor at 20.22 is amazing!😲 It looks just like St. Mark's Square in Venice, a beautiful sight that reminds me of when I went on a trip to Venice. My dream is to go back to Venetia with my camera and take a walk around the city, so I'm excited just looking at it🤣

The scenery of SALAMANCA is wonderful, but it is very high quality. I've tried to take video of my bike a few times, but I can't seem to get it right because of the left and right shake. Your video is very nice and easy to watch. Thank you for sharing this wonderful video😊
