all i know is we need kdramas like this but where the main leads end up rolling around in stacks of money together no matter how morally questionable it is!

This was an emotional rollercoaster. I felt really bad for Gicheol and Hyereun. Hyereun really loved and protected Junmo till the very end. However nothing really felt like a success by the end of it. So much betrayal,loss just overweighs the meaning of all of it. He does all this just to get promoted but then again doesn’t find happiness in the end. Its so bizarre how much attachment to a person can make us do things that we at first would have morally objected to like for instance when Junmo let Gicheol go. The ending scene felt as if like in another world they would have been brothers when they looked at each other and smiled and strided through the streets of Gangnam. The show really served to its title. It really was the worst of evil.

First junmo started the mission for promotion and pride but later involvement of his wife in the mission it's became so complex, that he has to protect his wife and has to play safe ,at some point he got soft corner for heryuan and gichoel and tired to protect them ,u can't blame junmo for his actions ,he did his job as a ruthless cop and also tried to protect all 3 of them without being selfish ...
So did gicheol die or not?? And what happened to eui jung. I wont watch the series without knowing the ending , i dont mind spoilers.
@@meghna3521they should have given some ending to eui jung. They could have atleast hinted at eui jung ending up with gicheol or her figuring things out with junmo. Or they could have just shown her being friends with them but we deserved to see her get somewhat of a happy ending with either of the two male leads
I can’t imagine the great toll this drama has taken on Ji Chang Wook both physically and emotionally. I want to take this opportunity to say that JCW deserves the best actor award for 2023. There is absolutely no doubt about this. Apart from being an extraordinary human being, he is a brilliant and most humble actor… his behaviour… his attitude … his manner of speaking… his superb attire and grooming speak reams about him. What a wonderful human being he is. Much if this credit needs to go to his Mum who brought him up impeccably, and of course the people around him who were instrumental in bringing him to this point. The cherry on the cake is, the effort and hard work he puts into everything he does. There are no half measures with Ji Chang Wook. It’s all or nothing at all. A Polish Australian from Sydney loves you!

The worst of Evil is the best action drama of this 2023 so far. Ji Chang Wook is freaking the unbeatable cop and hoping he'll get an award of this. Kudos to the writer, director and all casts who made this wonderful drama a masterpiece😊

Sometimes the payment is not worth the price......
Yeah, this show was excellent, but also brutal to watch. Not because of all the blood and death, but just because you're watching the slow destruction of these people's lives and souls, but all to try and save each other. It's really a great story of "no good deed goes un-punished" or the road to hell being paved with good intentions.
Bibi chemistry was far better with JCW then his wife. They should have ended up together in the end. Sad for Bibi and JCW
Worst of Evil is the most outstanding drama of 2023, the whole crew members do demonstrate perfect acting skill especially JiChangWook whose eyes, face and emotional expression, body language and flighting action full of acting power, the soul of the drama. Bravo , Unbeatable 👍🏻👍🏻👏👏💯💯+
I thought nothing could beat The Big Mouth series.... but The Worst of Evil was dope!!!!! I'm sure there will be a season 2 and Park Joon-Mo will start his own gang and be with Haeryeon again

Just like wi hajun said in the interview, at the end of this drama, what we get is at the end everyone is left alone and feel alone
Each of them have done their job excellently,,, in 2023 this will be one of my favourite kdrama for sure,,💔
The Worst of Evil 💥🖤What an outstanding noir series... filled with intensity, violence, emotion, selfishness, vibrancy, and raw intent. A real work of art. The acting was phenomenal; the costumes, lighting, and make-up brought the film alive; very well written and thought out. A definite favourite 🖤🖤🖤💫

God I love this edit so much and the drama by far my most favourite korean drama , I'll never forget this drama and that way it was realistically showed, wookie did such a good job and wi ha joon too, in another life or multiverse they could have both played as friends in a positive light, god I'd love to see these two together again in a new action project

Damnnn i got chillssss. Why this drama is criminally underrated? The cast and the director have done hell of hard work. I was waiting for this drama but i wa so busy but seeing these edits now i think i should watch it asap.
I think part of the reason it is underrated or at least not mentioned by many is because it’s on Hulu (for those in the US). Bet if it was on Netflix, it would get more watchers.
Tremendous acting by JiChangWook though the character is little dark in the drama
Sadly, Gicheul dies a tragic death in the arms of his first love eui jeong, having been betrayed by everybody he trusted 😢... Even I saw junmo crying for him during the phone call 😢 .
I know it was a mistake choosing this one to watch it was obvious the sad end before it begins 😢😢... i hate the end

Holy f**k!!! This edit is absolutely amazing! The songchoice, the colouring, the pacing, the voiceovers and the choice of scenes! Can we talk about the absolutely genious choice of starting the video with the opening of the elevator?!! I've seen my fair share of nice and good edits over the years but I am always so delighted when i stumble over something special like this one. An edit like this is on a whole other level. Maybe it takes to be an editor myself to see the care and work and time that must have gone into this...i wish more people would comment on the edit and the art of it and less on the series...but maybe that's just me...anyways thank you so much for creating and sharing this gem and making my heart jump with joy

Tbh i feel it was junmo who changed during the course of the series. The wife was never really swayed by gicheol. Just my personal opinion..deep down she cared mostly for her husband but maybe towards the end the relationship was too much to handle for junmo. Perhaps due to his insecurity as well as his unresolved feeling towards the Chinese lady
agree, i feel like her leaving the flowers and the locket on the grave also feels like she decided to give up any feelings she may have still had for gicheul and it was eventually junmo who was the one who gave up on the marriage

Класно все сыграли! Замечательный сериал. На одном дыхании. Безумно больно, не отпускает, сломлена и подавлена. Как будто была внутри событий. Редкое ощущение, спасибо создателям сериала - абмолютно всем. Сумели создать особую атмосферу на сьемочной площадке.
So guys in the ending when junmo(ji chank wook ) goes to jung gichel grave he puts flower wrapped around his locket and a ring.that ring was park junmos wedding or something else.
i think the flowers were there before, i assume euijung put them there, and then junmo comes and puts the ring meaning the marriage is over and the cigarette as a sign of some kind of comradeship

He developed feelings for another woman a criminal (who should have been arrested) while he was undercover. He was insecure about his wife’s feelings for JKC, but she only saw him as her past. She was not swayed and was only trying to help her husband. She begged him to get out of the undercover mission. He was determined to get promoted. He left her when he started caring for that Chinese woman/ criminal. Seriously so frustrating. He could have stayed with her and tried to make it work although she may have saw he changed too much. No one sees her point of view that her husband changed and she deserves better. 😢
