  • This is an older Soca Chutney song from Guyana. Its Titled "Sookie Come Ley We Go" and it chronicles the fears of a young man going to ask the hand of marriage from the girl's father the first time.
The original was sung by King Fighter (Shurland Wilson) who was born in Victoria Village, on the East Coast of Demerara. Guyana on March 10, 1928 and sadly deceased on December 12, 1999.
The original was a slower version. This is probably a later redo with more emphasis on a heavier beat.
