Choking him out & looting body is easiest way. You move away, get where hes not looking/aware of you. Sneak up and perform knock out move (can fail, depends on your stats and opponents).
The technique I used is: Learn Master-strike from Bernard at Rattay Constantly perfect block and riposte him, Thrust him in the head with a blunt weapon for massive damage (I used the morningstar)
That sounds good, I started carrying a war hammer around for heavily armored enemies. Blunt damage seems to be really OP in this game. Also if you get the "Headcracker" strength Perk it has a decent chance to instantly knock out the opponent in combat.
I haven’t been stopped during fast travel for a while, I have my scout perks but I thought that gives me higher chance to evade it (still giving me the option to fight if I want) Is this a known bug or should I just play more and wait n see?
Hey, I'm having the same issue, man, yeah it's gotta be. Since reaching level 10 and knocking him out a few times plus stealing his gear, I've not been stopped at all by any regular or fancy Knight wayfarers. So yep, you're not the only one, friend. Warhorse probably is aware and if not, there's gotta be a forum to let them know. A new patch would be welcome to fix these glitches. The other night I was exploring lower area and upper area of Skallitz, and my horse got glitched, man, he wouldn't fucking run. He must've been injured, which I think can happen to your horse, yeah they go for realism here lol, or it was bugged. Last thing, sorry for writing a novel, but Sir Radzig just stayed in one spot after I beat the Runt quest on his steed and just kept saying, "welcome, Henry, glad you've came here, Henry." Good luck, bro. I really hope we both haven't broken our games. Would hate to have to reset it to an earlier save and lose my current good Milanese chest plate armor.
Matt Vander Eyk sadly I started a new game, no real reason other than I wanted to have interrupted fast travel. I think it is a random bug, 36 hours in and I’m level 12 still getting stopped by beggars and wayfarers. I think it’s jut random. I’m not starting over again though. I had 12k gold and awesome gear for my level. Using alchemy to brew crazy saviour schnapps so if I get a bug I just reload my many saves till it doesn’t bug.
Said I wouldn’t start again, corrupted save file and 40 hours gone! I started over and this is the last time, I haw 20k gold, Warhorse Jenda with best horse accessories. Tonight Sea of Thieves comes out so I won’t be on this for a while
I don't know if this is intended, but arrows bypass everything. Shoot 1 arrow at him hes stunned for a second, get some distance shoot again. Took me 3 arrows. (I might add I was fighting him with a sword for about 20 minutes before I tried the bow and beat him in 30 seconds.)
I fought him for like 30 minutes (single fight without reloading) i hit him a hell of a lot but his life was still at max. I used a merchant blade, bow and piercing arrows, bludgeon because 37 blunt damage since he’s in plate (also all i had on me for blunt) but nothing seems to affect him. I reloaded countless times but still he seems immortal. Anyone else has this problem?
I beat him with just a basic armour set like Chest piece and arm protection and mail and with the family heirloom sword and beat him in a few min but that’s prolly bc I beat the tourney like 20+ times but yeah

Did you continue the playthrough then realise how hilariously overpowered your end-game character becomes? I've just been searching about this knight as I've just beaten him, it took me around 4 hits to the chest with Herod's sword for him to give up lmao.
Sorry, this is an old video. He spawns randomly as you fast travel throughout the map. As you fast travel, you will occasionally be stopped by a wayfarer. This can be a number of different NPCs.
All this fucking effort. i just aimed 1 arrow on his head when he was one inch from my face, he just fell to his knees and dropped dead.. Took his shit whitout anyone pentalies. he has 2 best in slot items so its worth it.
I didnt mean to kill him honestly, i tought with his full face helmet he would concede or there would be a cut scene or something, i was surprised and a lil disapointed that he went down instantly. But when i saw his sweet loot i didnt care anymore. Nerf bows!
I have a link in the description where I found him, but I think you have to activate the blue "Wayfarer" icon whenever you fast travel. There is a percent chance you will find a wayfarer whenever you fast travel. Wayfarers can be anything from a peasant to mercenary to knight.
He shows up at the bridge leaving Rattay from the Miller's Hut. Using a sword against him is a bad idea. Use an impact/blunt weapon, a shield, especially if you have the perk that makes your blocks drain more enemy stamina, and your mace hits to the head more likely to knock someone unconscious.
Dude, everyone has to make this so difficult. I never understood why. I quickly maxed out my bow skill, strength and agility. Get the Yew longbow with better piercing arrows. I never sword fought anyone in this game. I beat this guy in a less than a minute by shooting him in the face a few times. Not only did I win, I inadvertently killed him. But often times, you will quickly win and he will surrender the fight. I killed Runt in one shot that way, at the end of the first battle. Master archery people, and take down everyone with ease.

This is definitely the best way
that is very chivalrous
Very honorable
The technique I used is:
Learn Master-strike from Bernard at Rattay
Constantly perfect block and riposte him,
Thrust him in the head with a blunt weapon for massive damage (I used the morningstar)
I use polearms against him, beat him easily without a scratch.
Polearms are overpowered

Thanks sir knight for the upgrades! First attempt I bested you.
Step 1: crouch
Step 2: choke him out
Step 3: take all of his undamaged armor
fuck im gonna try this now
It works lol, I fought him, got rekt, reloaded my save and choked him out.
I haven’t been stopped during fast travel for a while, I have my scout perks but I thought that gives me higher chance to evade it (still giving me the option to fight if I want)

@@KillerFISH1991 you can can get more gold fast by grinding the bandits at skallitzs. Then you could continue the run at 12k gold

Have you tried a warhammer? Idk if it would work though

Everyone talking about all the strats they use and I just choked him out and crushed his skull in with a mace
Btw use maces or can you not use those?

I gridded a bit before starting the campaign, when I fought runt I just face spotted him 2 times and he was out lol. Sword grinding for the win
@@kyle18934 Yep hahah, on my next playthrough I think I'll go on hardcore with all debuffs! Heard that balances endgame a lot better.
Random encounters don’t appear for me. Anyone know how to fix?
Thanks
No problem.
Can't get him to spawn

You can also sneak attack him, but it's pretty cheap and not very noble if you ask me.

I guess it's fitting if your role playing for that type of character. Roguish type.
I cant find him :(
dollmaker tipped arrows ... few of those and its GG free armour
Just convo the shit outa him that’s alll
i kill him with herods sword after i refuse to fight😂

Jolly Leprechaun what is the Wayfarer icon?
Please don't tell me this method beats every opponent?
It makes 1v1 utterly easy (especially on higher levels), but vs multiple opponents, the game is still pretty challenging.
Location?

Yeah, I had a feeling a blunt weapon would be more effective against him. Think I'll start carrying a mace or something for enemies like that.
I’m literally standing at the same spot as in the video and there is nobody here.
Rob Tuzzio They only appear at random locations at random times
