Craftyfoxe was serious in his 25 things i learned abiut model trains video a rerailer does help cause here he is taking only 20 seconds to put a humongous ho scale 4-8-8-4 locomotive on the track but i take 2 minutes to put an n scale 2-6-2 steam loco on the track with no rerailer so yeah use rerailer

Nice model, but why is it necessary to put the chalk decal on the model. For the price it should be there already by the factory.

If I recall correctly 4014 didn't have the chalk on it when it was in service, and they put it on for the excursion. That way if someone wanted to have a full freight service big boy from the 1940s-50s, they could leave the chalk off. If somebody wanted an excursion era big boy, they put the chalk on.

@@spencercorby4571 well if you want a 4014 in freight service, you would buy a different big boy. This version is fired with oil (!). In the 1940-50s it was fired with coal. So the oil burner is always the excursion version which should always have the chalk.
