ikr, i feel we missed out on this match up in the NEL
Great vid! My thing w Barou's PE is it has this greatsword effect, like +5 damage but -2 accuracy. That intense concentration tunnel vision takes makes it easier to blindside Barou, like a starving lion unaware he's being stalked as he hunts his prey. At first I thought MV was a natural counter to it, but Chigiri's block proved PE's limitations.
I think Barou's new chop dribble (evil king road?) would be more complete had Sendo offered to be his Kurona, as we saw Sendo & Shidou 1-2 up field in the U20 match. Or if Niko had a license to act as a deep-lying playmaker. That'd increase his threat options and it'd help him grow off-ball, which he doesn't do without Isagi for some reason.
Barou is maturing with his defensive workrate too. I don't think he'll become a gritty back-to-the-goal player like Osihmen, but the physicals and hunger are there to win 1v1 duels like Rin can. If Barou prefers a workhorse aka Lorenzo to break through the midfield for him, growing his hold-up play would relieves pressure off his guys.
I agree PE deff made him more focused on the goal box, but I think he is figuring out a solution to that, since he adapted to Isagi and Kaiser and add to that his unpredictability I think he is cooking a new more deadly version for the U20 WC.
@@ACE_LockI don’t see barou being a better defender he just has his own kinda isagi meta vision. Something like kuroko in kuruko no basketball. He’s shadowed that dude so long he just understands him
Rin wins with skills but Barou is the best through mental and drive, that's why he is my favorite character, he has Isagi energy without the plot armor and he has the Rin seriousness and training mentality without the edgelord bullshit. Barou is the Goat,

@@darshanenoch82 OK someone took this seriously, this is a sport anime right? In the everything sport anime things happens like this: the main character will loose once or twice normally at the end of the first season in the anime or the first or second arc in the manga then it's a winning streak till the end.
Some will one up you and make the main character looses again but it is very very rare and not after a long long time. It was like that with Haikyu , it was like that with Kuroko's Basket and sadly it was like that my favorite sports anime Hajime no ippo, i learn that he lost in the recent chapter keep in that ippo has more chapters than One piece. Blue Lock exist since 2018 and it didn't prove me wrong yet, it is what it is.
@@billygrayson460 Only one arc has had this man win more than one match in a row, just saying. ALL of the other arcs have him making his mark somehow while either losing with a close margin or winning with a close margin. Every character in blue lock that are in the NEL (in top 23 of the spots) in that case is a main character because of how they've only taken Ws since the anime reached here
Well when it comes to physicality you can’t forget Shidou….he was literally able to push Kunigami as he pleased off and even on the ball while Barou had nearly no chance in a physical duel with Kunigami pre wildcard so his physique is actually fourth place at best.
His speed actually isn’t really that impressive either considering his official physical stats with only an 80…which is even 2 lower than Nagi in the Manshine vs Bastard match and only 3 higher than Isagi before the Ubers match.
I really hope for the stats of Rin and Shidou being revealed soon because they were already monsters of the field before training with european clubs.

If you are talking about a full status then rin wins mid diff due to his abilities and balance ( and berserker form) but as a striker i will take barou bcz he is a goal machine and his hunger mentality

I'd say that conditioning goes to rin, as was displayed since 3rd selection against karasu, u20 against shidou and aiku and NEL against Nagi, Rin can shoot under extreame conditions while being limited due to physicality as well as displaying the comfortability to use both feet and a larger variety of shots

Isagi worked his ass off to stop nagi and reo from scoring and still nagi scored a goal.
Rin destroyed nagi and reo duo and made them completely invisible.
Rin also has better shooting range and variety of shots.

Rin has the overall better attributes but if you want someone who wont fold under pressure its barou. Rin will not become the number one striker because from his own mouth he doesnt care about that. He plays what i like to call vendetta ball. He wants to humiliate players. It has nothing to do with being the best or even beating the best.
The telling thing about berserker rin was that he sought out opponents to defeat in their style. The goal was secondary. Note that when isagi snaps he wants the goal. When barou saw isagi surpass him the chop dribbles were NOT personal to the player. He merely carved a path to where HE could score the goal.

in terms of who has the deeper bag, believe it or not rin's isnt deeper and they are very close to the same so it really just comes down to playstyle and how rin is more willing to use his team to win while Barou dolos

Rin cant fuse the 2 vision predator eye contradicts meta vision you can switch between them but cant fuse them as predator eye is always on the goal keep and meta vision is always looking at the whole field

It's the ability to modify your shot type depending on the situation, for example curved, a lobe, back spinning shot and so on, if you remember the first selection, Okawa was known throughout japan due to his versatility in shooting and then Nagi came and blew everything off the water with his insane ability to shoot all types of shots easily

Rin look like he can't control his berserk form and he want to destroy everything to win while metavision in to be a right side of Mind and focus not only that but barou mange to beat isagi metavision and kaiser at the same time (kaiser and isagi metavison are better than rin) so I belive that it would be a tie and to win you would have to see who have the more shooting ability which is barou cause I believe rin could use berserk mode and at the some time as metavision but currently I don't belive so.
