@Faustin Dutoy Bouley maybe putting them in a separate class so online is competitive. Free roam who cares I want to launch myself off a jump at mach chicken, who doesn't?
I’m happy they added this to the game because I always wanted it in Horizon 4. My dads friend has one that goes 5.teens in the 1/8th that is full built drag car
Fun Fact, people often thing the Mustang was the first fastback muscle car, released in ‘65, but actually the first was the ‘64 Barracuda, released halfway into 1964. My dad has one! Awesome car
I had trunk or treat at my school and my buddy or a little kindergardener her mom drove a barracuda there it was beach themed and there was manicans in the trunk with teeth on the top and bottom of the trunk it was really cool
The Barracuda, along with other A-body Chryslers, was not a big car. It was instead America's version of a "small family car". That's one of the reasons the A-body Chryslers were so damn good on the drag strip. Valiant, Dart, Barracuda, Dart Sport/Demon, and Duster were monsters at the 1/4-mile, handily beating the darlings of the muscle-car era like the Chargers, Chevelles, and the like.
The Dart has always been funny to me, the way they turned a small, light and very average family car into a 425hp monster really tells you a lot about Dodge
@@SWR_Quackula Sure, but it's the small blocks you need to worry about. A built 318 or 340 will make that car scoot, without giving it all that extra weight up front.
@@johncrafton8319 oh of course, there are definitely better ways to make that power, especially now. It's the fact that Dodge put it in themselves and turned it into a quarter mile machine straight from the factory
Nick's fun facts need more research lol. The Camaro and Firebird were also competitors to the Mustang and Barracuda. Also not all muscle cars back in the day had big blocks with max hp, the Camaro Z28 and AAR Cuda were set up for handling and had high revving small blocks.
This was an awesome video my dad has a 1968 Plymouth RoadRunner with the 383 the same one as this barracuda and the stirring wheel is the same the door handle is that same and even the stereo is the same. I wish the 1968 Roadrunner was in the game because I think it’s a great part of not just muscle car history but car history because it was one of the first cars with its own brand deal with Plymouth signing a 100,000 dollar contract with Warner Brothers to get the roadrunner car in the game
Hey nick, I've had a realization. If Plymouth makes barracuda, and Plymouth is related to dodge as chevy is to gm, then maybe the reason dodge doesn't try to improve handling is because it didn't work 50 or so years ago?
@@Crummieboi56well not at all, Dodge and Plymouth were just owned by Chrysler and shared the similar platforms, but Plymouth was Chrysler's spin off brand way before they bought Dodge. Dodge was it's own Company until the dodge Brothers passed away and their family sold it to Chrysler
Hello Nick I have a suggestion. Can u make a video that tells us ur person favourite car for each type of race's Like: - offroad race - rally race - super car race - hyper car race - drift - sound - best car - drag -hatch back -sedan Thanks
Love your video's and for year's pleaded with Turn 10 to bring this Barracuda back. Love the car and back in the late sixties early seventies my older brother owned two '67 Barracuda's. Barracuda's are my favorite car of all time. I have never owned one, but before I die I will get one. Right now, there are two Dodge Challenger's in my garage, an '09 RT and '71 340 convertible, so if Turn 10 drop's a '71 Challenger convertible into the game, that would be so cool.
I have a question. I figure I would put it here since this is the latest video you've done but, you know when you unlock an accolade and it tells you the date you unlocked it, for some reason, if I unlock an accolade say at 7 or 8:00 at night, the date it says is unlocked is the next day! I know my time zone in settings on my Xbox is correct. Just wondering about this...
actually yeah because the tall deck 383 has a stroke 3.75 like the 440 did the slight difference was the tad big smaller piston but it is still considered a big block
I feel like everyone says eww a old boring muscle car because everyone thinks forza is gonna be a game with only super cars and HyperCars, but old muscle cars and old pickups are my favorite. I think forza should add more classic muscle cars and lickups
The new pyshics honestly suck. Every cat is suddenly unresponsive and doesn't turn. And trees got sticky. I will hit a tree (obviously) and then steer to the side and yet despite not touching the tree I'm stuck to it.
Happy Canada Day!!

The power of editing
And then for some reason it turns orange 😂
Oh and then it turns green lmao
Aaaand it turns red
And then it turns greeen
Fun fact: actually Barracuda was the first pony car,it was released with 2 weeks before the Mustang
"Yeah I don't think this can beat my personal drifting best" Said by Nick right before beating his personal best
He does that all the time lmaooo
You could probably get it into the high 7 second mark with it. A 7 second quarter mile is fast
Forza should add dragsters and funny cars to drag race. 7 seconds is fast but nothing compared to 3.2 seconds.
@Faustin Dutoy Bouley maybe putting them in a separate class so online is competitive. Free roam who cares I want to launch myself off a jump at mach chicken, who doesn't?
