Mario's Madness is a mod directed by Marco Antonio The mod is centered around Horror Mario; a creepier version of Mario from a well-known piece of artwork from DeviantArt. It also features a few other appearances from other official and unofficial horror-based Mario characters.

SMALL CONTINUATION UPDATE:
LUIGI’S LABYRINTH (logo should be inspired by the Super Luigi U logo, word Madness is crossed out)
Lore:
After Pico temporarily escape’s Mr. L, he finds himself to be in a new world, one that doesn’t seem to be in the best shape as land is seemingly mixed and glitched a bit, welcome to the Fallen Farlands! Here, you must encounter a random amount of enemies, those that have made the land uninhabitable. Can you reach the boarder side of this hellish landscape and escape M’s world? Let’s find out!
Opponents Concept:
- Victim
- Berserk Mario (I don’t like Dorkly Mario but this can be a good counter option)
- Powerstar Wario (Powerstar Archives)
- Hell Valley Sky Trees Ghouls (Super Mario Galaxy 2)
- Mr. L’s Sudden Last Showdown (you defeat him once and for all by dumping him in lava)
Suddenly the ground shakes, the building begins to collapse. You fall into a new world, one that is currently undergoing through hell.
FINAL OPPONENT:
Emma and Virus + Victim 1 (Five Nights at Warios)
This song has Emma who you face against as VIRUS transforms into the different opponents you faced in previous FNAW games. Victim 1 appears later in the song, as you must defeat him after defeating Emma and VIRUS. Song ends with you either defeating or losing to Victim 1, leaving the player to decide the ending.
okay i know it's unlikely but damn that would be so cool, seeing pico square off against the scrapped characters

Seeing Ink Bowser made me realize that, to my knowledge, Bowser doesn't make a single appearance outside of Unbeatable, which makes me sad
He also appears in the oh god no game over screen but other than that he doesn’t really have any other appearances

Since Fingore isn’t really associated with Luigi’s Mansion, I have to wonder if Fingore was ever really planned and they didn’t just stick him on the sketch to keep up the joke about the character supposedly being scrapped from every Mario game lmao
he was supposed to take marios place in alone but the devs found mario more fitting since he was a part of the lore

i mean i dont know much about what his concept was really for but i assumed being with eleh meant it was just gonna be an entirely unique song about the two of them because they're scrapped characters (even if fingore is just a hoax)
It's funny how people are missing the whole ds menu thing in the files, it's impressive they have all the files for it but it was scrapped
it was there because they probably downloaded them from the ds files and used them for the intro of hallyboos song
@@je8rathey’re there as they were originally going to use a whole ass DS UI, menu and settings and everything, but scrapped it as the code got too old and they didn’t wanna spend any more time on it

Honestly surprised that SMBZ Mario was never even considered. Bit disappointed about SMG4 Mario being scrapped, but what can you do, I suppose.

It's a shame Ink Bowser or King Ruthless didn't get into the mod. The lack of Bowser was really jarring to me, although it's still an incredible mod regardless.

How in the hell did they not at LEAST have unused assets for Call of Cthulhu or Mario The Music Box? Missed opportunity.
Some other mods are doing those ones tho
They should 100% uses some of the scrapped content for a epilogue featuring Pico as the protagonist.
As it stands now, I feel like Pico was out of place in the mod, so a short dlc could potentially undo that.
i have to be so fr my friends and i were both distraught that pico didn't like come back to help boyfriend and girlfriend, i hope that they'll do a sequel
since some characters were scrapped due to full roster, if they do a sequel those characters can have a chance

If I had to order them in what's best it's obviously:
1. Pibby Apocalypse (My Amazing World, Suffering Siblings, Come Along With Me, and Forgotten World are so fire)
2. Darkness Takeover (Twinkle was fire)
3. Cartoon Corruption (Eternal Slackers goes absolutely crazy)
Asides from ink bowser, dorkly mario, and maybe FNAW mario, I can understand why all these characters were scrapped.
The only thing that surprises me the most is the fact that donkey Kong is almost never referenced in the mod (correct me if I'm wrong). Even though there aren't that many good creepypastas/material to pull to make a donkey Kong character work in the mod, I still think he should've been added in some way given how rooted he is to Mario's history.
I guess it's because for most, Donkey Kong is considered a separate franchise

I didn't even know about some of these things that were scrapped like wega and jaiden apparently being planned at one point for the mod.
I think at one point Devil Mario had an older design in a leak i once saw, it was alot more squareish. And the pose was leaning forward with bended legs I think?
I wish Jaiden Mario was added because KennyL always is the goat for making MM songs and for what it's shown in the video. It is so good.

Man, would have LOVED seeing Ink Bowser tbh, considering how we didn't get to see basically any Bowser content from the mod. I mean, sure, from Unbeateable, but that's about it, Ink Bowser still sounds SICK. But one that I am ESPECIALLY bitter about is that the Victim #1 or MARIO VS Pico song got scrapped as well! Like, that is just singlehandlely one of the BEST Mario creepypastas and it just got scrapped! And we would have more than just one Pico song! Oh well, at least someone on RUclips made a fanmade thingie for the scrapped song and it's pretty neat, it scatches the itch y'know? But still, tad bit dissapointed but I can get behind it, this mod went through a shit TON and TONS of leaks, development hell and drama so it's to be expected some hiccups would have happened. Regardless, this doesn't lower my opinion of the mod, it's still obviously PEAK
I'm not sure I'd call MARIO one of the best Mario creepypastas when it was a literal troll. Most iconic? Yes! Best, nah.
There's a lot more unused characters and content in general than I thought there would be, and this doesn't even include some of the unused stuff that got leaked. Some of this kind of make me sad to see they were scrapped, especially Jaiden Mario and FNAW Mario, since I'm a fan of both Jaiden Animations and FNAW.
So is Weegee, Malleo and Fortran there as well?
I find it funny most people are sad SMG4 Mario got scrapped,but i'll be honest SMG4 is kinda mid nowdays so I can see why they don't like him

I have a feeling Walugis Taco Stand was suggested by Nova64.
And also to point out, I actually knew Nova64 before he left the internet. He actually worked on a Roblox Pikmin Fangame as the lead developer, but left the team due to the drama around him.
Imagine SML the plush series, Hotel Mario 6, Mario and the music box, and Mario vs that one piano from super Mario 64.
Some of these songs are pretty good, maybe there should be a Mod out there called Mario’s Madness V2 Unused Content

I'm that one person who's favourite song is Last Course, and when you count the scrapped songs, my favourite one is the Wega song.
I think the lack of bowser is very saddening. I also think more peach, wario, and yoshi would of been awesome! Tho, i am happy with what we got!

i find the ink bowser song really interesting, it sounds like itd be one of the really cool intesnse songs visually and i cant really tell who youd be playing as. hard to pick out the different 'voices' at times but its clearly not bf, maybe a luigi of some kind?

honestly, looking at mr. virtual, im kind of glad they reworked his design.
the classic takes a more heavy horror approach where he almost seems to be wearing her head as a mask, but i genuinely think its WAY more unsettling and cooler that he literally transforms into her. because rather then being like...mindless murder horror, it feels more sinister, like he's mocking boyfriend by turning into her. playing with his emotions.
plus his old design kind of weighed heavily into the analog horror theme, which i think is kind of oversaturated at this point, i much prefer his current version.
also why the hell does burgers hit so hard wtf.

Or maybe it could be because in the Content Cosmos all the characters are bad and try to hurt Boyfriend with their mechanics but Jaiden is a peaceful character who shouldn't have to hurt Boyfriend and if she should, in what way? And what you say makes no sense since at no point do they us that Ultra M kills all the characters, I don't know where you got that from

I had an idea for a continuation of the story after beating all-stars a secret path unlocks in the overworld under the pipe is a path you cant see if you enter it you get a cutsen of dadey derist and mommy merist finding the cursed cartridge and go in to save gf and bf you then get a new overworld sprite as daddy derist you can't play any of the old songs but now new parts of the area's have unlocked and you can battle scraped characters and new ones
Like doctor mario.exe ghost peach from there's another princess in ower castle and more you even find pico and have an epic final battle with M to get bf and gf back
