Good morning, Matt! Thank you for sharing this pattern with us! Me and the orange cat will watch this video together shortly! Tight lines my friend! 😎🎣
It’s definitely as much an attractor as anything else. I like the hot spot and think it would do well in any number of fluorescent colors. Thanks Matt! BTW, I like the flies on the piece of driftwood. A lot of my streamers look like that except they’re underwater! 😂
This is the first Trude I’ve seen with legs. Besides working well as an attractor, I’ll bet it’s really good if there are large terrestrials or stoneflies flying around. I’m hoping you will feature this fly in a fishing episode.
I watched this on Wednesday but commented today. I don't think it went through or maybe I missed hitting the arrow. Anyway it's a nice pattern. I like trude flies and mentioned Scott Sanchez's Convertible as a super Trude style pattern. I know you have one of his books, maybe you've seen it. Thanks Matt, have a good one.
Good morning Matt. ☕️time. Enjoyed the pattern today (I enjoy them all). That fly has a lot going on. I don’t have any moose hair with me but I could try to sub in some black paint brush hairs for the tail. Take care and have a great weekend. Oh and I sent the email with my US address.
@ Yes for sure. I left all my natural hair, fur and feathers at home to avoid any issues at the border. Rules are just vague enough that can’t be certain what you can bring across.
Nice buggy fly! And congrats to the winner of the naming the fly!
Matt I love the way you tie , nothing bothers you
Good morning Matt, so instead of calf tail, I've been using Fulling Mills Ultra dry yarn. The stuff is amazing! Killer pattern here in the Rockies!!
Great buggy fly. I tie something similar. I call it; “Oh Well.” Never fails to get a few takes.
Thanks Matt. That Trude does look like fun. Anything with rubber legs!
Fantastic fly Matt. It will be a sure fire success for bluegill and crappie.
Good Morning Sir Matt, that’s a great looking fly. I’m going to have to give this one a try.
It's definitely a cool looking fly, Matt. Thanks for the video
Nice tie Matt!

I have 20s and 22s so I'm going to to make the attempt on it just to see how bad and long it'll be. I'll send a pic when I get it done
Congrats to winner on name the fly must have commented before me that’s what I said too! Savage bruiser sounds great! Thanks for videos Matt

Great! Something is going on with my domain. Can you resend it to my personal email at mo@matt92.com?
Bucktail would work too.

@@Jd-yc3gwDefinitely, you do not want to have problems crossing the border.
Where are you sourcing your moose body hair? If you don't mind me asking ?
