Escanor easily carried the entire series on his back from Season 2 onwards. Even the horrendous animation and artwork from Season 3 were barely tolerated just for the sake of seeing The One Escanor.
Escanor’s Sunshine works by increasing his overall power as the sun rises during the day and he slowly gets weaker as the sun sets. Escanor was able to transform into his Giga Chad day time mode by visualizing Merlin within him, who he considers his Sun. In short, it pays to be a Simp when you’re Escanor. #praisethesun
Honestly I feel about the same level of emotion as you do for Gowther for every character in any show. Does that make me a sociopath? Probably, but I can still enjoy the show!
