@@RaiderGlaceonlook, I was mad too, but you have to admit that Soul of Crota flows a lot better as a raid boss theme, plus the percussion fits the bridge a lot better than the forgettable music that was originally there.
I've completed this raid so many times and I had no idea the music sounds like this for Crota. There's just so many sound effects happening at once, and constant chatter between the raid team.
I get why they changed it for Destiny 2, Crota's boss fight there is a lot more fast paced than it was in D1, and Soul of Crota does work better there I guess, but... This is absolutely iconic. The way that evil, unsettling Hive ambiance rolls into the heroic Swordbearer theme once you pick it up, signifying ypur Light breaking through to banish Crota's evil, and the way the Swordbearer theme is your whole damage phase is absolutely brilliant. Beautiful work here, I really miss when Destiny themes were absolute bangers like this

Bubble on the edge of the stage on the right side will give a good amount of cover. Plus one person should be on the bridge trying to draw aggro from the one knight, because you didn't kill both, right?? Doing so spawns a wizard that camps next to crota - no cover. Kill the wizard and 2 more knights come out to repeat the process and by then Crota has crotated and/or your sword is gone.

You are fighting a god. Well, as close to a god as Destiny gets. Crota is, simply put, a Hive mind with the power to create his own version of Hell (the necro-zone, as I call it) and can will things to live and die just by glancing at them. If it falls down to it, he simply summons the Omnisoul to flat out annihilate the opposition. While he's no Atheon, he's still damn high on the list. I'd put my money on the Son of Oryx against so many super-powerful characters in games and animation.
My first time wielding the Sword was actually a total accident. Me and my group were doing the raid, and we had gotten Crota on his last legs. I was going out with our designated Swordbearer to grab the sword, but he died, so I had to pick it up in his place. It was absolute insanity. My fingers were going so damn fast that I got an extra 4th strike and didn't even need a second round. Shit was fucking crazy.
Outkast Gamer I miss this game. My favorite time playing it was from day one up until shortly after house of wolves came out. Over the summer my destiny one friends all disappeared. The Taken King I had to find entirely new people besides one guy who came back to me. After that was just random after random. I never found new friends until they remade the old raids before destiny 2 came out. Still play with them to this day.
@Weebles I stopped playing after Destiny 2 Expansion 2.. Destiny to me lost its spark and is no longer very fun any more like it use to be. I moved on playing BO4 & of course Fortnite which I don't regret on doing.

You don't just melee him till he's down? It takes 8 defender melees on easy mode and 22 on hard mode btw.

Noraa Samoht when i'm holding the sword you only hear the sounds of my screams from being chased by crota and getting wrecked by boomer knights.
