Also notice that Musa AS dealt with the problem immediately and removed it away from his people. Also, the influence Al Samiri had over bani israel was not something that just occurred but it existed in Egypt because he was used by Firoun to spread the false religion. It's easier to use 'their own' to spread it rather than an enemy.
