- Mamie Rose lives in Ponsonby, one of the Queer hubs of Auckland City. She is a spritely 21 years old and lives with Williams Syndrome, an intellectual disability that can be recognized through facial features, and the stature of the person and normally comes along with learning disabilities. Mamie identifies as bisexual and is passionate about the LGBTQIA+ community. She has come out in recent years and is going through that process but doesn’t feel like she needs to hide who she is.
Mamie is a model who has done shoots for Vogue Italia and other international brands. She is currently working towards a fashion shoot along Karangahape road to express her pride. She will be exploring Karangahape Road eclectic op shops for the perfect outfit for the photoshoot.

Can I just say how much I LOVE these "Disabili-Tea" segments? Every person featured is so unique but represents someone out there who can identify with exactly them. There should be no labels and lines should be blurred as every person on this planet is different and wonderful in their own way. I hope this series continues for a long time because it's what we need right now ❤🧡💛💚💙💜🤎🤍

She's a pure soul but also taken advantage of by the rainbow community. She trusts and loves everyone so she thinks she's bisexual. God knows how many times she was abused without even knowing!!
