Momotaro is amazing. He reacted immediately when Gentaro put Kintaro at risk. And look, then he came to check if everything is fine. He is so attentive and caring. Amazingly delicate silverback.
How do you know he acted immediately? There are several cuts in the footage at that point in the video.
Dan Harlow I think we know because Kintaro is safe and we have seen in several videos before this one, that Momotaro is ON THE SCENE as soon as he sees Ginki chasing Gentaro. Make no mistake about it, dad may not be in the limelight all that much, but he watches and he guards his family. Much respect to him! 👏🏻👍🏻🦍
@@gingerblu9671 My point is the video is all cut up so who knows how long after he came over. Seems to me like people don't even realize there are like 5 clips cut out after Gentaro ran. Who knows how much time or what was cut out inbetween the clips.
@@gingerblu9671 Also, Kintaro would be safe with or without the dad. Genki is very protective and Gentaro isn't trying to hurt Kintaro anyways.

Opinion, we all have one and I respect all... Momotaro is on guard and he is not about to let Gentaro hurt his son. I think he has s very special bond with Ginki. She is his only lady... but sadly, she is much older. He will go on to Father more offspring g. But this, I believe and I hope, is Genki’s last baby. Bless her heart... 😔
Kintaro really goes in on his brother thinking he is just as big and bad, so darn cute. Gentaro is innocent this time, dragging Kintaro by accident when he was running away from Genki. 💞
Exactly. He wasn't trying to run with his brother. Kintaro grabbed him when he tried to run from their mom. He really wants to be with his big brother lol.

If you look close Gentaro tried to get his brother off of his arm before he ran away from Genki but Kintaro held on.
Actually it's not the first time he does it sometimes kintaro holds his brother at last moment, I thought i was the only one who saw that
Dan Harlow Absolutely right Dan, I saw this happen on the last video when everyone accused Gentaro of dragging his brother. Baby chooses to go to Gentaro to play, he wouldn’t do this if he was afraid of him. This behaviour happens in all gorilla troops, it looks harsh to humans but Genki continually drags baby by his arm or leg. 🦍🇬🇧
@@bonniekenzie8545 it does look harsh when a 100 pound or more gorilla drags around a 12 to 15 pound gorilla.

Their is nothing funny about what Gentaro is doing to Kintaro. He has a huge advantage size and he plays too rough with him...that poor baby is gonna wind up severely hurt.

We haven’t had a looting in a while and Gentaro has been getting a lot of play with baby. He’s just always going to be rough because he doesn’t know his strength. Good kintaro walked away. He sure hit that rock though.

Well well... so much to see but mai ly all in the last 30 seconds! Gentaro had that sneaky look from the start! Looking around to see if dad is looking. Giving mom the once over to see when her guard might be down enough. Does he look like Ginki or what?! Kintaro is a little biter! I had to laugh... 🙃 My favorite part, Momotaro to the rescue! Then he always stays close to Ginki for a while. I think they have a silent connection... something we cannot know. He seems so aloof at time and so can she. But when it’s time to step in, Dad is there! I can’t wait to see him really bonding with his baby boy. Gintaro is growing so big. Yet he still feels like a child I think. Ginki seems to know that too. She wants to let him be close to Kintaro but he just cannot be fully trusted!

Everything goes well part of the time with Gentaro ,Kintaro and Genki . Looks like Gentaro made a bad choice when he took off with his brother !! Oh well, everything will work out as time goes by .👍☺️😁
I've been watching video of other baby gorillas. I think Kintaro is really advanced.
Lope did the same thing to Shufai when he was Kintaro age, but it would be great if the grounds was level and grass.

Why is the video all cut up at the end? Why not show exactly what happens?
They need to keep Gentaro away from Kintaro. As the mother allows Kintaro more freedom, he is susceptible to being hurt by his larger older brother. That's why the mother has been overly cautious. Gentaro dragged him like a rag doll and Kintaro hit his head very hard on those rocks. It is not funny to put that poor baby in harms way for the benefit of people that want to see Gentaro play with his little brother. Maybe they need to modify the enclosure.
